Which cars disappointed you most?

last shape m3....overated or what!
s4.......gave me the worst backache of my life! my legs went numb, spasms the lot! i just couldnt get on with the seats and driving position, so i got rid of it after just 3 weeks!
s3....rubbish!
golf 4motion.. comfortable on motorways, but gave no sense of speed whatsoever, real slow!
puma...lousy paint job, unreliable central locking, easily blown around in the wind.
i've owned some of the above cars in the last twelve months, and to be honest , my my00 is the best car i've EVER owned..i absolutely love her.

I had a vauxhall corsa 1.0 3cyl 12v when the scoob was in the bodyshop, the biggest pile of **** i have ever had the misfortune to drive, it was soooooooo gutless and round corners was like a row boat in a storm!! I had a Skoda Felicia shortly after and it was so much better, haven't thing changed!!

My current S4 is pretty high on my list of disapointments.
Have to disagree with people on the S3. One of my favorites. When I had the MY00 at the same time it was always the S3's keys I picked up. The wife was no best pleased.
My last MY00 was a disapoinment-poor performance compared to the S3. Like Bob I think MY98 was a better vintage. So far off the other recent scoobies Ive owned.
The new BMW E46. The 330 is highly overrated. Steering feel is non existent. My old E36 328 felt better. Ive got the M3 on order can only be better !!.
Cant forget the Golf VR6 either. Have to agree on the 4 Motion as well

I know it sounds heresy but I agree with you about the 355. Drove one at Thruxton and it felt like a big soggy lump of soggy stuff
Ony redeeming factor was reaching 165 before the chicane

Did the Thruxton thing myself with a mate, we both came to exactly the same conclusion as yourself (Big, heavy, wobbly, light steering the list goes on ) Felt like the Impreza would run rings round it glad it's not just me, I was terribly upset.
Still, the Guys and Gals who turned up in Mondeo's and Micra were terribly impressed with the 'prancing' horse
