And from personal experience, I would ditch the induction kit in favour of a standard airbox and uprated panel filter. You WILL reduce intake temps giving a better scope for tuning. Many scooby engines go bang due to high intake temps. You asked for advise so I am giving it!

Check out the filtration test results in the link below. Wouldn't want all that crap going in my engine!

well at the min its boosting on 0.9 bar , n the packing in the exhaust is blocking the back box ,new box goin on tomoz so shuould giove me a bit more bhp , m8s got a p1 and has ha dlots of other scoobes and thinks they standard boost at .7 ish so somehting has been done , not really been led up the garden path just knew it was underpowerd once i had driven it but i had had the car up on the ramps etc and now that everything on it is sound , so not really to fussed about a couple hundread quid here n ther to get it bk up to power ! whats peoples views on the piggy back ecu scenerio ? worth the money or waste of money ?

I know if I'd just bought a car on the premise that it had 280-290 BHP (as you quoted in your first post) and found out that it was only 230 BHP... I'd be pretty miffed.
Just get a proper ecu and get it mapped
