I've got a Ninja From Scoobyworld with a After Burner Centre Section and Cat Pipe. Just right for me. Not loud on long Drive's but great when you Hit the Throttle.

Also Pop's and Bang's at low revs. Nice little touch

Here's a sound Clip of one. (NOT MY CAR THOUGH)

Let us know what you think. Go or Bad Guys, i've got broad shoulders!

Double 'S' exhausts 4" nice burble, roar when pushed and there on motorway but not annoying

i love the deep rumble of my prodrive cat back, i'll have to get a video of it later, everyone says its loud but i dont think its too loud?

quality is really good, fitment is spot on, its as wide as the channel tunnel from the cat back, police dont see a problem with it after following me for a few miles last night either

Am I the only person with a kakimoto racing exhaust? Not sure which one but sounds gorgeous and looks pretty decent. HKS / apexi / kakimoto etc. Don't think you can go wrong with the Japanese brands.

I have the 3" H&S with 100 cell sport cat and have to agree with some of the other reply's. I was disappointed with the quality. Welding was messy, looked like the trainee had done it and worse the pipe was crimped in 2 places by a vice. Had to send it back because it had UK STI flange not JDM as I asked and mentioned crimp marks but was sent back in the same state albait with new flange. Service to turn it around was good and he refunded the garage cost as the flange was spotted until the garage tried to install down pipe.

Sounds great when booting it.

Mate has the TSL with Firestorm backbox and the finish is excellent. Sounds good at tick over but the H&S sounds better when booting it.

I'm thinking of getting this also really like the sound of it but for my classic scooby.

Or is it worth paying extra for the Blitz Nur Spec S/R? It's £300+ isn't it just for the backbox??

If you are talking back boxes you are talking Blitz Nur Spec 'S'.

If the poll was for cat backs you would be talking Blitz Nur Spec 'R'

Expect to pay c.£290 for an 'S'. Build quality is better than any of the others in the poll with the possible exception of the Genome. None of the other boxes boast a 3" bore to an OEM flange which gives the Blitz its deeper and frankly superior burble

it'll fit, but you'll get more info here

http://www.imprezasport.net/forums/index.php

ive got the racebox backbox and afterburner everything else, its quiet enough at 30 not to attract the attention of officer dibble, but at 4k and above, it screams like a banshee

3" MILLTEK SPORTS EXHAUST AND SPORTS CAT DOWNPIPE - It's on the car I pick up on Sunday (MY03 STI), sounds sweet. Very nice rumble without sounding too loud.

My Cobra system has a 3" bore with a 2.5" OEM-sized flange. It mates to a 3" downpipe too (obviously also with a 2.5" flange.)

I love it. Tailpipe is 4" rolled-in round - not drainpipe-sized lol, but just the right size on a Classic IMO, and it looks like a 22B's thus retaining an OEM pattina. Also, the "back box" is cylindrical and all but the same girth as the tailpipe, so looks like a straight through job (like RCM's Team Ice lol.)

It's loud (but not ridiculously so) and also really magnifies the flat-4 burble. I'm into it. And all for just £109 - the full system that is! i.e. centre and back box - brand new (off eBay.)
