This made me laugh...

As we get closer to next June, we see more and more desperation beginning to kick in.

See the link below for the Met Office basically admitting they got it wrong about Arctic sea ice disappearing due to Global Warming.

We're on track for one of the warmest Octobers on record

Seventy degrees in London on Thursday.

But don't worry, that's just irrelevant nonsense

It's probably best to study the facts from the last 14 years, rather than just the fact that October's been mild!

Just checkout that correlation between co2 and temperature, irrefutable!

Hell yeah, who could dispute the link between measurements at Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii with St Pancras in North London?

Oh dear, I don't think they measure the CO2 just above Hawaii and then assume the rest of the world is the same!

Plus if you notice the temperature is from the University of East Anglia and is the data used by your beloved IPCC.

Why don't you check out the increase in storm activity in the US since 1946, to see if you can spot any trends there?

Paul, there is simply no point going over old ground now, is there? You know **** all about it in the same way i know **** all about it. We just come to different conclusions given what we choose to believe.

I'll keep going on about it until people listen thanks. I don't think it will be too much longer, less and less people are blindly following the warming alarmists now. All the surveys indicate more and more people are sceptical and scientific opinion is collapsing rapidly as the earth cools.

It's quite funny really.

Well maybe you or Paul can post up the 'fact' that backs up the amazing claim that 'the Earth is getting cooler'?

Cool

Martin,
Even the BBC has now published an article showing that the Earth has not had a temperature rise since 1998.

The climate alarmists are now saying we can expect 10-20 years of cooling, and that the models show this can happen (funny how previous models didn't, but why let that get in the way? Just make a new model to fit the data!)

In all this time, it is not disputed that CO2 levels have risen steadily, and according to the IPCC, temps should rise accordingly.

Please show a 'fact' that any of the IPCC projections have (or are likely to) come true. Changing your models is a cheap trick.....

I think the problem with using 1998 as the moment in time that global warming apparently stopped is flawed though. 1998 was an exceptionally hot year and a stastical outlier. The trend is still upwards (although slowing somewhat). Of course I'm no expert but it's probably not sensibly to dismiss an issue as potentially serious as this on the basis of a rogue data point.
So we should be asking why is the trend slowing instead of why has global warming stopped. That could be to do with solar activity, as already discussed on the thread, beyond that who knows????

I can't be ar5ed to quote from it so feel free to read at your leisure. And there is a great thing on the interweb called a 'Search Engine', Google is a good one to start with. You'll be able to use it to find lots of links that will back the assertion that the earth is indeed cooling.

Enjoy!

Dave
Well rather than posting up a oneside agenda ridden piece, which is of course your trick I thought I'd post up something far more balanced. I could of course post up hundreds of GW theory supporting articles but unlike you I'm interested in the truth, not some wierdo right wing agenda

Not really, Vessels that size displace quite a heavy volume of water, if you consider how many vessels that size their are around the world your talking about quite heavy volume of displacement overall, that water needs to go somewhere

There was a time when millions believed the consenus at the time, The Chruch, that the Earth was at the centre of the Universe.

There was a time when people believed you could not travel, in a machine, faster than walking pace.

There was a time when people believed humans could not survive a trip into space.

And the list goes on...

Fact is, there is no AGW. There is no significant upward/downward trend that is nothing more than normal variability, and the "human" component cannot be distinguished form variable noise.

Al Gore was factually wrong. Hansen was factually wrong. Briffa used a 12 tree ring dataset, and only 1 tree from that dataset, to come up with the infamous "hockey stick" graph the IPCC uses.

The IPCC are trying to erase the MWP, the Roman Warm Period and the LIA.

Why would these politically motivated organisations and publically paid "scientists" alter/massage data to fit CGM's and then loose the original datasets? Why do they feel the need to hide data?

Stinks of a Govn't scam to me.

Saw that co2 advert last night and it really pissed me off, glad somebody has already complained about it tbh!

They will be stopping us from breathing next, in case we dare let any co2 from our bodies, pathetic.
