She was shoite, there's no getting away from it. Compare that performance to Alexandra's last week and they are leagues apart. Alexandra was the dog's baws...perfection infact!

Whitney is a brilliant singer IMO, but she cocked it up on XFactor big style. Her choice of the duvet cover dress for the performance was wrong. Her strap snapped, so did her confidence with it. But even to start with (when her strap was intact), recorded vocals opened up her gig, and continued on the background. I think she vocalised about 30% of the whole perfrmance LOL. For a very senior performer on such a low key show, she did bad.

Even Cheryl Cole did better than her, although her performance didn't have the XFactor either. All costume and moves but feeble vocals.

Ah, well. **** happens, Whitney.

Robbie was criticised for his stint last week, but so far he has done the strongest and most entertaining guest performance with his fantastic new song IMO. I don't care if the Scoobynet plachoon hates him.

I've been surfing for a new car and relinquished the tv controls to the wife. Naturally, like most women she tuned into a 5hite programme, tonights Xfactor. I must admit I did watch Houston and Tweedy 'sing'. Both had recorded tracks and were miming at stages. WTF was going on with the choice of songs and dresses? I did at one point thought it would be amusing if Witney fell over her too tight duvet dress.

All in all the 2 blond benders put together a better performance than these two. I was watching Cowell saying Tweedy and Houston put in a great performance and was amazed. Anyhow, back to the car hunt.

Stand behind me I am before you in the queue.

LOL I may have to believe what you say, after seeing dizzy Whitney "live" on XFactor.

There is a difference between recording a song over n' over in the studio and giving it out "live". Robbie is a terrific stage performer. Very natural indeed. I'd go with the fact that he is more of an entertainer than one of the finest singers.
One again, his new song "Bodies" absolutely rocks :

Exactly! He may not be the world's greatest singer, but he is a fantastic all round performer. I am not even that great a fan of his music, but enjoy watching him perform as he has great stage presence.

Hi Swati
Hi Sara

Yep! her dress was far too long, anyway. Her brain was engaged in trying to hold it, so that she woudn't fall on her @rse tripping over it. She even looked like her mum with pregnant belly in it. Next what happens is that the strap says to her "Goodbye, don't cry!" and it snaps! Bingo!

LOL for an experienced stage performer, she should have been able to handle it without making much deal of it, but she didn't.

Ah, well. I haven't prepaid to see her concert in 2010, so HA.

I was waiting for her **** to go flying out.

She is looking so much like Dionne Warrick (sp) now. Did you see the state of her home in the papers a few years ago?

I think it was an 80's revolting dress from her early years. Her moves were dated and all. Hang on, she couldn't move much anyway, as her dress was so tight too. She has put on pounds, but thats not too bad if you sing with full blown talent and passion. I mean, I always liked Pavarotti's singing even when he was humungous!

Not being rude or something, I do appreciate her talent for which she did win 6 Gramy awards. But she was nothing like what you would expect someone as good as her to be, on the stage. I really hoped for Whitney blow amateur Cheryl Cole away. But it didn't happen.

I didn't see Whitney's home coverage by media. If it was a pig sty, I can believe it. Bet there were lot of toke remains, coked-up dollor bills, and *** butts flying about inside the house She did come across like a bit of a troubled soul on XFactor.

I just hope they don't stay in when the competition gets closer. They could end up staying, booting off people who are actually half decent.

Good to see you popping back hun.

Did unfortunately see Cheryl Coles song - cant believe she has the gall to appear on there as a judge, when she gets up and sings that badly - apart from mumbling in monotone through the verses, she didnt come close to hitting the higher notes on the chorus.

If she had been a contestant this year she wouldnt even have made it to boot camp, think she would have been better off miming, although that wouldnt have disguised the fact the song is pi55 poor.

Also, anyone else notice the top she was wearing that showed off her ( taped up ) ****, was the same one the girl in the girl group had on, when she slagged them off for looking too tarty ?

EXACTLY!! Her and Danni gave the strippers a really hard time over what they were wearing then this week Cheryl comes out looking like even more of a hooker - hypocrites.

My X-Factor thoughts:

1) Whitney's performance was pure car-crash telly. Embarassing.
2) Cheryl's outfit was ridiculous. Does anyone really think that those "trousers" are going to catch on? Song & dance were OK though. We all know she's not the world's greatest singer.
3) King Simon got rid of the annoying Scottish guy, because he knows that cry-baby Rachel will be guaranteed another bottom two slot next week, so that halves the chance of one of his own acts getting put in the sing-off.
4) Louis Walsh should get over himself. Tragic though Gately's death is, I cannot see why Louis couldn't have attended last night's show. I hope they docked his fee. Did anyone else notice how neither Dermot nor any of the other judges explained his absence this time? I think they're getting a bit fed-up too. I think that did for the Scottish guy too, since Louis ALWAYS saves the Celts. Funnily enough, his acts are doing better without him!

Very true. Cheryl Cole was crap. She would have failed at the bottom levels of XFactor, easy.

Simon Cowell had to be polite and say that she was good. He did say that "It PAINS me to say that was brilliant" On the other note, he might have been expecting it to be far worse!

Also, anyone else notice the top she was wearing that showed off her ( taped up ) ****, was the same one the girl in the girl group had on, when she slagged them off for looking too tarty ?
Yes, but she did say (when she was slagging off Kandy Rain) that Kandy Rain needed to get established first before they took a birthday suit-ish stance on the stage. Well, Girls Aloud have established themselves as crap very successfully over their years, so they can rightfuly come on the stage half-nekkid, no problem.

It was all costuming, legs and belly wiggles. No outstanding singing talent displayed. Cheryl's voice gets lost in their GL group as well. Its the tall, leggy one with straight figure and no waist, who has the best vocals in their GL group.

I Will always love you - without doubt one of the most annoying songs of all time, sung by a woman who was so up herself she was without equal, now a sad crack head, call it Karma if you wish.

Shit Factor, et al - so people really watch this shit then ??
