I didn't see the Golf/Octavia review, but from how it is described here it is exactly what I think the problem was. Trying to out-silly TG, which has for the last 2-3 years been going downhill itself IMHO.
As for Suzi Perry, she is indeed worth getting sweaty over, but in the grand scheme I find her only averagely pretty. If she lived next door I'd wanna slam her, but with her tree-trunk waist she could never mix it with proper beauty, especially as she's showing a bit of age now and starting to look a bit daft when acting the fool on that show.

Ahem
I wouldn't say no...
Agree on the general opinion though that 5th Gear was basically more of a Top Gear tribute act more than anything, I just never found it interesting to watch and Tiff just annoys the life out of me.

Can't one channel just review cars for half an hour a week? FFS it aint rocket science.
**** the foofing about off!
Take a hand full of cars of various class, look around them, explore the lines, look at the interior, then drive them and let us know if they are good or not!
Quit jumping in then zoomin in and out with cameras whilst they do 200mph around a track!!!
It's like fast forwrding a **** DVD to the money shot. A bit of foreplay first please! Some of the old Top Gears had it right.
Arrrrgggh this new world of those with short attention span
Sorry, a bit drunk tonight. In Norway on business for a few days. Will end up editing this tomorrow ha ha

I still enjoy Gadget Show but my interest definately coincides with the length of Suzys dresses. The last two weeks she's worn trousers so I've fowarded through all the links

To be honest, I'm not surprised; it became a pale imitation of Top Gear. It would have been better had it stuck to being a "factual" car review show, which it did perfectly well. When it aped Top Gear, it failed on both the entertainment and factual levels.
VBH would get it! Hard! She looks like a giggle, has a filthy sense of humour and loves cars, fine by me

Agreed, there is room on the telly for a decent show that reviews the cars we want to drive and buy.
In one way the nearest thing to that was Used Car Roadshow.
bit more budget there and a good mix of the performance testing and new cars you've got a good show there without all the sillyness.
There are only so many times you can see a car race a plane of some description over some sort of distance without it seeming a bit trite.

VBH would definitely get it. But she'd better stay off top gear cos she's a crap presenter.....
Suzi is ok - definitely going downhill now but i guess she's still a bit of a milf. If people want to see more of her then she presents the motoGP (unless the two wheelers constitute some sort of sin for the folk on here...?)
5th gear will be missed by me. Yes they had started to resort to more and more stupid topgearesque challenges, but watching tiff and plato beast the test cars around whichever track they were at is always better than the TG crew. Different kind of show, but trying to be the same didn't work out for it....

I like the tv program Used Car Roadshow too but I do find that guy a little annoying, his laugh puts me off as does the size of his belly.
The female presenter, cant remember her name but used to rally drive, sometimes looks half decent, so obviously I would :-)
I do agree though, there is room on TV for a decent 30/45 min program about car deals, second hand stuff, and general road tests. As long as it doesnt have VBH or Steve Coogan's brother in it, then cool.
Also, that pic above of VBH is well old. She looks ropey in the flesh. I saw her the other week in London and she looked rough. Of course I would do it, but I have issues where I must do every girl on the planet hehehe!

Anyone can look great with a top photographer, good lighting, Hollywood make-up and Photoshop. When she's on telly you can tell she simply is nothing special. Natalie Imbruglia on Jack Osbournes Adrenaline Junkie last night however look loooverleeeeeey
