Had another go this morning with the D1 silvia drift car and managed 75k drift points.

But when i quit the hotlap mode it never saved my score ?

I have done a few standalone events as well, and they would not allow me to use a car that was in a class above, but the ones in season play do, maybe this is not related, might be though.

Anybody else noticed the car in fronts shadows keep switching on and off?

Yep I've noticed that too mate. Particularly on the Tsukuba track where they turn a light shade of blue round the last corner.
I'm now playing with a wheel and enjoying it. Had to do a few races on medium difficulty whilst I was getting used to it.

Yeah, but you can get it back on the wheels just by turning the steering wheel

Yes its very annoying when your in for a great lap at sunset peninsular (sp) and you clip a curb abit too much, you end up rolling every time.

LOL coming down the hill after the final corner?

I was racing TheSquirrel555 online and my controller has a nasty habbit of not centering properly and twitching left, and randomly done this just as i was approaching the pitlane.

He was laughing as he drove past while i was stuck on my side

I have now started using my spare wired controller while playing forza until i get a new wireless one

Sold something from my storefront (tuning setup)

Achievement has still not unlocked!?
I even did the "collect credits" thing to see if it would help.

Any ideas?

Try and collect the credits again, it only works if you then see a message saying how many credits there are and then once they are added to your account. Sometimes when I click on 'collect' the message flashes but nothing happens.

I've not done any online races yet but I'm looking forward to it in the next week or so.

Sold about 50 tunes in total now on my storefront but ratings are only 3-4 star, most people don't like the wway I set the cars up. You have to be smooth with my tunes I'd say slower in and fast out is my method. Some not bad laps in my A class S5 in the last few days. Both Mugello tracks inside the top 100

Tune is on my storefront if anyone fancys a go with it only 2k

on a side note ..... anyone get the frame rate/jerk when one of your friends is logging in ? I get a few frame drops just before the friend online icon pops up ? bugging when your on a hotlap.

on the credits not ekeep hitting the button until you get the second dialouge box.

Started my first SN scooby race earlier this evening, 1st lap round Silverstone, was 5th heading into that long right hander before the chicane 3/4 of the way round the lap, someone takes out StickyMickey from 2nd, they both go off and the 4th place guy slams his brakes on to avoid smashing into them, I sail through into a safe second then.... my wife unplugs the router to do a bit of hoovering!!!

The crown means they have bought the Ltd Edition version of the game (as far as i know)

Had some decent races last night, and we managed to run into some good clean racers as well, quite suprised to be honest.

It seams like class A races tend to be a little safer, as the faster classes usually end up with more spaz drivers who just go barrelling into the corners with no exit plan

If i mess up and clip somebody, i usually slow down and give them the place back.

We had a cracking race later on after Neanderthal did a "rage quit/hoover scam" one of the other drivers in the Porker GT2 was ranked a Champion (lvl 25 iirc) and the bloke was seriously good, i was right up his chuff and i did not want to do some kind of dodgy overtake job that ended up with us both going off so i kept doing "fake" dive up the inside moves into the corners to try and pressurise him into a mistake, usually this will have an effect after a full lap, but this bloke just kept sticking to his lines and ignored me

IIRC i am level 46 now

sorry I missed the fun lastnight. Squirell invited me but I was getting stuck into some drift laps. Finally got the 5gs for the 100k in a single lap.

I'll give it a try a bit later today for some online races

Thumbs up

I almost got voted off after I had a slight bump up the inside of someone ranked as a champion bit people saved me
I think I only won one race last night, I adopted the tactic of hanging back for the first few corners to avoid any shenanigans, although that usually meant the guy in the lead would get too far ahead to catch
gonna make me a Class A Scooby

I really enjoyed the clean racing last night. The one time I thought I'd pushed the guy ahead of me off I remember seeing Mickey slow down to let someone by, so I pulled off the racing line to let this guy through but he drove straight into the back of me (obviously thought he was getting a slipstream off me )

got to find my mic, last time I used it was when we were all doing the Forza 2 races!

Maybe, depends if i can think up some cunning kind of activity for the missus to do, so she leaves the TV alone

IIRC something half decent is on the TV on a monday though?

Just checking the diary here at work, no jobs booked in for tomorrow, and its forcast for rain, so i will only be working from 8am till 10.30am and then i will be back home for a day of gaming bliss

I learned to use the clutch button and it's way faster over a lap than manual with auto clutch. Think I managed to take about a second from my A class Mugello long time.

problem is I really think it takes away from the fun of playing the game. I play with the wheel and hitting "a" makes you twist your hand round and drive with only one hand on the wheel. Not fun so I've gone back to normal manual + auto clutch.
