Pain comes and goes really. Can move it properly now (1 week post op), but I haven't driven yet as not fully up to the task I don't think.
Worst thing is stopping myself doing stuff around the house. I am usually working, so don't have time for some things, but now can see they need doing, but can't do them!

I need my trapezium removed, its the bone at the base of the thumb and the plaster they put on makes it impossible to use at all so i have been putting it off but the pain is so bad now. Its my left thumb but one hand cant do everything

I can still hold them both in one hand! They are so laid back and content, i watch them for ages. I decided to call them Honey and Benny until they get new homes but i dont want them to go

I'm going through a bored with the 'net phase, which (for me) means a mere 15 hours a day online 
Seriously though, I am a bit poorly atm so I've not been about much. It must be serious because I declined to go to a mahoosive party in a great venue on Saturday night because I was too knackered.
As for good looking and single... dunno, but it counts me out, so keep looking!

I'm back up and about. Just went for a long walk as sitting on my bum all day with no exercise is not doing me much good. Must have walked 5 miles!
Shame about the thumb Sara, but you will cope. I had lots of help from my daughter, she even had to dress me the first couple of days. You should soon get used to it.

I am going out on an almighty bender this weekend, it is my nieces 21st so i have to try to keep up with the young ones. Oh well, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger

I was in a sling for the first few days, don't need it now, though it is playing up a bit today, so might reinstate it! Hollie went to school and told of how she had to help her mum put her knickers on.... lol!

I can still work with one hand but practicle things like gardening etc will be a problem. Coming back from a holiday with a white hand would be a laugh, i would look like Micheal Jackson
