I personally don't see why you have to slap a load of vinyl on them but if you want to then expect positive and negative reactions via the public and fellow owners.

mine came with them as standard equipment from subaru and i changed them. They looked neat when they came out on the very first lexus but since everyone climbed aboard and now they look tackey.

lexarse lights look ****... graphics on a scoob however... only scoobs can pull it off. was colin mcrae and all other rally drivers chav`s coz there cars has stickers on??

A small 1.1 1.2 powerd rollerskate car...
an Argos back box with a fake tail pipe on the back to fit in a small village...
neons,
MASSIVE body kid that looks **** and is sprayed in primer
Go faster stripe over the bonnet and roof,
a big **** stereo that sounds crap due to it all being from cash converters
standerd suspention with 17" fox racing alloys!!
Need i go on??
im my eyes there are 3 kinds of scooby drivers...
1)Normal every day people that appreciate there cars and each and every other subaru owner (with out being a judgmental tw@t)
2)A judgemental tw@t that will snot on any lesser scooby than his/hers or slate someone down because they cant spell on a public forum, take the pi55 out of scooby newbees for asking the question they once asked etc..
3) A complete chavvy tw@t that bought his stereo from cash converters, has neons all over it, a massive **** body kit and rear wing the size of africa, a powered by fairydust sticker from halfords, every STI sticker from ebay oh yeh and i almost forgot.. the 17" fox racing budget wheels from halfords!
after all that i will still agree with topic in hand! You are not a chav but if you have lexarse lights..... you really should of gone to spec savers!!

hate any other lights apart from standard and sti ones, but i don't think graffics and mud flaps are chavvy, football supporters wear their teams shirts so why can't people have there cars looking like the team cars.

I didn't find mudflaps on my Scoob chavvy, they did a purpose and were black on a red car. Maybe the wrong colour choice on a car could look chavvy maybe, but they were function over form on mine.

Each to their own at the end of the day, i used to like mudflaps and BOV's now i can't stand BOV's and i think my car looks better without flaps. If we all liked the same thing it would be a pretty boring forum.

Because football shirts are official merchandise, were as stickers are not. Their almost fake if you like. In fact i'm sure companys have got into trouble for stickering up or even selling replica kits although its quite rare to hear of this happening. I also think it doesn't look right unless it were on a 2 door with wide arches, basically a full WRC replica.
Each to their own at the end of the day, i used to like mudflaps and BOV's now i can't stand BOV's and i think my car looks better without flaps. If we all liked the same thing it would be a pretty boring forum.

like everyone says each to there own, got red flaps on my silver just to stop it looking so plain but i don't think i'll go the stickered route as you say its a silver car. but they can work on a 4 door blue car as remeber it wasn't till i believe 98 that there was a 2 door impreza for rallying and it didn't exactly win anything so you could say there only any good on a 4 door original winning scoob.

and should just be confined to saxo's as it makes them go faster 
mudflaps i think suits the impreza and actually worked wonders on mine regarding stonechips and dirt in the winter and also makes it look wider

Only IMO but I do not like the Lexus style or afterburner style lights on the classics. Mine has originals on and even they look better with there orange indicator segment than the above styles. I'm going to change them for the STI style rear lights eventually.
I did read that some of you think the mudflaps are "chavvy" but I have to disagree as I have a set on my car and they suit the car IMO. Anyway my sole reason for purchasing them was to prevent the tar, stone chips and other damage that occurs on our doors because of the shape of the body. I had to remove no tar splats since putting them on and the stone chips are definately less frequent

Covering the car in gash stickers or having lexar5e lights on the back is equally bad. One of the reasons I've moved away from Imprezas, I'm sad to say, is the type of people who drive them nowadays
