He is the man you want to chat with ask andy as he maps a quite a few of his engine builds, for the record i had 500+bhp in mind but was adviced to stay around 470-480bhp for driveabilty and safe relieable power with plenty torque you should call him even for ideas that you want and can afford, pete prestige car bodies.

Peter,

He hated that TD05 20G, laggy as hell and he's even running a topmount intercooler as well. Because he's got a WRX there's no way to dial out the lag without some help from AVCS like on the STi's. Having fitted the ported STi headers i sold him helped a bit but still very laggy, so guess what......we swapped Turbo's

I'd ported my VF35 hot and cold side and it went very well indeed, good for 360bhp at 1.4bar and now he's well happy. It spools quickly from 3000rpm and will keep going strong till just past 6200rpm. Once i've mapped it he'll make 350all day no bother, specially now he's deleting his TGV's.

Anyway....i've now fitted your old laggy 20G and it goes very well from about 3500rpm. Without the AVCS i reckon it won't start spooling till about 3800-4000rpm but i haven't finished my own mapping yet and i've got it runing low boost about 1.3bar max and it's up to about 340hp. My injectors are next, just going to modify those and i'll be seeing 400bhp thereabouts. I've already ported the wastegate so it doesn't spike or creep and it's going OK. Just thinking about porting hot and cold side now
