A bit late to this thread, but my '93 has been stored for over 2 years and never saw a UK winter since import in 2003. 62k miles on it.

Reason - because I want to keep it mint and because I can. It'll be out of storage next year though as I've bought the house and done all the sensible stuff in between.

It helps having an 05 WRX wagon aswell though FWIW thats been washed 3 times in 11 months

I knew that you only took the car out in guaranteed good weather but your car is weather proof and has AWD .

Blinking flip Jarvis so I guess you'll wimp out of the SWS Xmas run?

Come on what's the point of the car if it never sees rain, clouds, ice or snow?

maybe.......

But me and you both know you havent

i see plenty of £40k plus cars on the road in poor weather and think, yup,a car is to be driven, dont get me wrong,i look after mine, underseal it wash it,clean the areas most dont, door lines/shut lines, remove the skirting etc,use a jet wash to clean it underneath when the salt appears on the roads but it still is a car so as long as its looked after, drive it !
