I am a bit worried now I am getting a pre registered van tomorrow delivered to my house. It only has 12 miles on it. Probably 120 by the time it's been delivered. I've been told it's as good as new. It better be as I haven't even seen it.

I think you'd be lucky to get anything out of them tbh. I'd probably suggest paying for the minor issues to be fixed yourself and put it down to experience,

I bet you won't make the same mistake the next time you buy a car.

A deposit is a sum of money which is given in advance as part of a total payment for something, you are fully entitled to a refund if you have signed nothing, contact Citizens Advice Bureau for a clear position on your rights.
