We got there and the little ****er was waving a meat clever around.
He eventually put it down after we spoke to him. He didn't recognise me as someone who'd nicked him for burglary in September. Nor did he recoginse the lad I go out double-crewed with at night.
The little **** started gobbing off about all of the witnesses he's got for a case where a cop attacked him - what the daft **** didn't realise is that it's the lad I was with who he attacked with a pick handle, and we have the video footage that shows the only person who was attacked was my mate, and there were no witnesses.
Almost made me wish we'd left the smackheads to it........

I once filled my car up with Super Unleaded, instead of normal unleaded. They forced me to pay full price even though I explained that it was a mistake and that my wheels didn't even need super unleaded! They run great on normal unleaded.
I think that just because I'm an Asian they thought "stuff this one" we'll sting him for the super unleaded anyway! When all I wanted was normal unleaded.

Have you mentioned your religion before ???
Or just that your Asian ???
Surely just by saying that your asian doesnt imply that you follow one religion or another ?

ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Put my car in for a service once. Wasn't happy with the job done.
Plumber once charged me more than I thought he should.
Once bought a potato and it wasn't as fresh as it should have been.
Bank charged me too much for my overdraft.
Internet connection has been poor lately.
Another dull, pointless SN thread so every dullard can post their bad experience with the police.
How original.

Following the pointless thread starting you, me, and others added other pointless stories. Fatscoob added a pointless story of him shopping and having to pay for the item (sarcastic and pointless but without a hint of racism).

IMHO their grounds for the search of the vehicle were tenuous.
Of course it all depends on what (he) they saw, but when you produced your phone from the rear of the vehicle, inside a jacket that was hanging up, its at that point the officer needs to look at his grounds again. IMHO.
If he decides, ok, I *defiantly* saw a phone, then great - search away.
But just because the law gives you the power to search it does not mean you should search every single time for the hell of it.
Too many officers fail to re-assess the situation as it develops. In a case like this nothing will come of it - its a nothing job anyway, but the day will come when they dont change their approach and it will land them in the ****. I have seen it happen, over, and over.
The fact they did not issue a search form either affirms my opinion.
The really sad fact is, when they do **** it up it will probably be a fairly decent job and they will let the rest of the team down.
Of course, if you complain their story will be that you had the phone... just they could not find it, oh and of course a search form will appear from nowhere...

Even if the approach was a bit wrong, at least they seem to be tackling it, if you werent doing it then you have nothing to worry about, ok, sometimes they may just decide to nick you anyway but I would hope that Police have better things to do than prosecute someone who isnt actually doing anything wrong.
They need to drive round in plain cars and nick those who are on talking on their mobiles, plus the fine needs to increase.

Yes, there are lots of poor people in this job.
Most people's gripes are about traffic related things, though. "I was only doing 40 in a 30", or "the road's clear; always is, 140 is safe".
The RTA is the law, as is not getting burgled or beaten up. Police have a framework to use. Suspicion of committing an offence is a tool we use.

Two jumped up w@nkers stopping someone on their way to work just cos they have "targets" to fill is bollocks!
Police shouldnt have targets, what if they have to "catch 10 mobile users" that day but only caught seven, you can bet the last 3 were made up cases just so the little ******* can go back to the station for a pat on the back from head piggy, that stinks of pig **** and isnt justice in any way shape or form!
You are all to55ers who persecute innocent motorists fro **** all just to meet targets, when heroion and crack dealers run rife all over the place, but the dealers are harder to catch and provide NO INCOME fro you, where as fining motorists lijnes your coffers and looks good for you ******* "statistics".
WASTE OF ******* SPACE THE LOT OF YOU!

Which would be why the inexperienced officers spend the first two and a half months with an experienced officer so they can see how it's done.
The phrase which passes around most stations around here is that you aren't a real cop until you've had your first complaint.
I remember mine - it was by a woman who didn't appreciate me catching her 9 year old son with a lock knife.
Yeah, that's right, I'm a **** cop as I've prevented her son stabbing someone. As you say, you just can't talk to some people.
