Remove the wings too, then we can have more overtaking.

And if that is not exciting enough, start fitting bumpers and we can have high speed dodgems just like in touring car racing

how about oil slicks as well just ti liven it up? lol

all joking aside, i think they need to reduce the amount of regulations and rules, instead of spending 10mill to try to get 0.00001 seconds quicker, would mean inovation would come back into it.

my sugested rules

1> min weight (higher than now to stop drivers dieting etc)
2> max 5L engines
3> NASP only
4> Safety rules remain as is

rest is free for all

And then the night races.
Turn off all those flood lights and fire a couple of sets of ebay HID's on the cars too

**** - we've just knocked millions off the costs

If that was the case, spending would go through the roof due to so few regulations!

With the new tyre choice of linglongs & nankangs we could also say no tyre changing
So that together with no refueling means we don't need half the pit crew
Et voila - more savings

i dont agree, you could spend xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and find that someone who spent 50p on a good idea was quicker.

tight rules means alot of tiny tiny developments for a huge cost. i think developments would be so quick that you wouldn't have time to go to that extent with them

In that case, I'm building my car 15 metres wide and ensuring I'm the first team out in each quali session

Yes, but that 50p idea will cause the other teams to try and copy, meaning for more money wasted trying to perfect it. By your rules they would proably have 1500bhp engines, traction control, launch control active suspension, active aerodynamics, qualifying engines.......see, the costs would spiral!
