Paul, I'm agreeing with you mate. I also know your opinions are very balanced, that's quite easy to tell from your posts, and not just because they all start ' now I'm no fan of Nick Griffin/BNP but.......'

He was accused of a criminal offence, so the standard of proof required for a conviction is beyond reasonable doubt. Since he denied using any racial language it was his word against Griffin's - and frankly I'm relieved the jury didn't feel that Griffin's word was up to the required standard of proof.
