What do you treat the bare metal with after cutting the hole?. As I'd be worried of rust setting in if the paint isn't sealed correctly!

It's done Massive thanks to Merv & Ellis, it looks great and fit is spot on.
It's been a long day and I'm crackered but very very happy.
pic's to follow once uploaded.
Make no mistake Merv and Ellis do a pro job, looks like to was done in the factory
Chuffed to bits here.

A couple of coats of hammerite on the cut and drilled surfaces. The wifes hair dryer came in handy to speed up the drying process.

Yep, very pleased. Gutted the white flap I had was slightly bent so on with the spare blue one I had. I'll get that off tomorrow night and then off the sprayers tuesday along with some other bits.

many thanks to the guys for cutting and fitting this.

Yes a MASSIVE thank you to Merv and Ellis... I'm well chuffed here
Spot on gents and thanks to Kev for the garage space to get undercover

John we painted the exposed metal don't worry we had that in mind to.

Guest appearance by Dean and a third flap from Danny

Pics in the gallery shortly I think gents but I'll do a couple in here to wet the taste buds

At one point Si did try further modifications to his car by fitting my JDM sun visors to his car

Nice try!!!

When he realised, (or got caught more like he decided to fit my visors on the wrong sides

Hmmmmmmm.

Danny then was eying up my roof lining !!

You gotta watch the buggers.

We did look a using some micro LED's as replacements and fitting them in the roof vent plastic's but in the end just not the room so yes the map lights are history.
