Beyond the joke now, the above statement from scoobynet/IB states IMO that the problem was resolved. I get the feeling sometimes that IB have the thinking 'out of site out of mind' with Snet, it sometimes takes days/weeks to get a reply in bugs/features. If mods can't do anything in there(i'm not having a go at the mods by the way) there should be someone checking in there at least once a day that can do something.

Slow again. I'll come back in a few days to see if we're back to normal ...

Unusable - think I'll just migrate to the regional forums as they work and are free and not full of adverts!

Haha - I'm now thinking it's ok - but that's only because I've sadly got used to the verrrrrry slow loading times of this site when it's at its best. A combination of less people on here and the awful load times are a downward spiral me thinks - where's everyone else going?

e.g. Pistonheads isn't bad (loads nice and quick, and has interesting other content on there).

We really want to apologize for the downtime suffered over the last two days. Unfortunately our Internet Brands network was targeted with a series of cyber attacks that severely limited access over this time period. Our tech team has worked around the clock to resolve the issue. We absolutely appreciate your patience and understanding and do apologize for the inconvenience caused by the attack.
Well I'm STILL suffering downtime, inability to get on the site and slow responses, so after FOUR DAYS it's STILL not sorted.

Poor show IB

Recent hypothetical MSN converstation between IB and the attackers.....

<IB> Can you please stop doing DDoS attacks on our servers?

< Geek > No.

< IB > oh go on, I'll be you bestest ferwend.

< Geek > Hmm let me think about that for a second.....NO.

< IB > But SN users are up in arms.

< Geek > And thats my problem, how?

< IB > Its your attacks that are causing it.

< Geek > Well, give us VBulletin for free.

< IB > If you want to be a cheapskate why not use phbBB instead?

< Geek > Because it sucks.

< IB > You pays your money....

< Geek > F*** off, I'm starting another DDoS attack.

< IB > Noooo, please think of the SNetters!

Ooh, cutting.

How exactly do you appease a bunch of disgruntled geeks that are attacking your server?
