hi chaps.

If it was Zen what would you guess gents?

remember i'm not looking for massive figures, it has to be a safe map first and foremost. I know Zen would have the same view.

none of the bootlids are alloy.
You are about to fall foul of the magnet test.
Go get a small magnet, try all the body panels and then be disappointed when it only fails to stick to the bonnet.

Only the bonnet is alloy.

The only other options for lighter than standard are GRP which can look cack to get lightweight or seriously expensive carbon fiber, and even then the majority of carbon bonnets and bootlids are actually heavier than standard!

Ah, the magnet test, of course, so simple. Cheers mate I'll try it. What other weight differences are there?

lol, well turns out you'd be wise to!

unfortunately there was no graph to print, but if you know andy f, you'll know his estimates are usually spot on so it goes like this: 330bhp and 310-330ftlb

Phil739 was closest! you win 」1.50

i must say it really feels brutal now, i can't imagine what you guys up in the 400's need all that for

the sound as well has become well aggressive. and for some reason my standard dump valve has woken up.

loving it, not subtle by any stretch now, but hey.

speaking of not subtle, heres a pic i took earlier, featuring the slightly larger scoop, not the sti8 one. I'll probably only use this scoop for trackdays now but had to map it with scoop fitted.

no pics of engine bay yet, but its not subtle under there either got a splitter and a turbo jacket still to go on.

cheers,
Chris.

Why's it got Subaru written on those graphics down the bottom of the back doors? It is so dogs taking a p*ss will know what they're lifting their leg against?

thanks both for the kind comments. it drives so beautifully.. annoying that the trackday season is over though hehe.

i have to remind myself now that i've got work to do, can't just be burning petrol all day now...

Cheers,
Chris.
