Hi,

Just noticed this thread.

As far as we are aware this is an isolated incident, as from the 350+ we have sold this is the 1st problem we have come across.
The diffuser we sell has been tested by ourselves to over 100mph with no issues, if it did catch air it would be forced downward, but with another car driving behind did not flex at all during our test.
This diffuser has also been put through extreme use on Simon Hortons Rallycross Impreza, which i would have thought ,if it can stand up to that much punishment, should be able to withstand anything a road going car can throw at it?

All i can think of, is that this rear diffuser may have had some sort of flaw in the plastic before it was formed which has caused this problem.

We at HT Autos are proud of our products and service and urge Richard to phone us to sort this out.

Surely a reply to this thread from them would be a sign that the problem is being addressed.....and that they know about it.
I dropped HT Autos a message yesterday just to check if there is any warrenty on their product. They've got back to me pretty quick and I'll be calling Mark today.

Hi Mark,

I'll be in touch shortly (work permitting). I appreciate the pride you take in your business, as I said at the start of this thread it is no way intended to be a critisism against HT Auto's. Just a warning for the guys to check for any early signs of damage before their hard earned ends up on the road.

Cheers, Richard.

Just fitted one to my wagon. Needed some trimming to fit properly and i also added some extra support as i felt it was a bit too flexible under the car. Will see how things go.

It,s the HT Auto,s one, just had some small problems with the fit, not sure if the wagon rear bumper is narrower than the saloon? I would recommend taking the rear bumper off if you can as this will make it so much easier to fit. I fitted mine with the bumper on and it is possible but you do end up with some bleeding nuckles!
