Not knocking it, still one of the best programmes on TV. The convertible feature on last weeks episope was one of the best in ages.
Isn't it the pre-christmas series that have the hour long specials as the last show? The Vietnam one will take some beating

They're going to South America this time. Apparently the filming had a lot of real disasters and took three times as long as expected to complete, hence they are still filming content for the current shows.
Tonights show made me proper LOL with tears at the slo-mo MIRA tests, but the rest of it was pretty ordinary. The R8/ZR1 review was beautifully filmed, but I'm tired of seeing £100k+ cars I'll never own EVERY BLOODY WEEK. The guest was about as interested in cars as I am in Gordon Browns under-clackers. And even spotting babes in the audience has lost its appeal since finding out they hire models to spice up the otherwise troll-like ordinary punters. I still enjoy it, but I still say it used to be, and could still be so much better.

I was pissing myself laughing. I'd much rather watch the entertainment Top Gear provides than some boring show full of facts and figures: if I wanted that I'd use the net or buy a car review mag.

Tonight's episode was the worst one I've seen. Very poor especially after last weeks episode. Only bit that was good was the corvette vs r8, the rest of the show was rubbish. Yes i laughed at some of it but I want more cars instead of their attempts at comedy.

I genuinely LOL'ed at the safety test thing. Hammonds voice sped up in the car was
I'll join the majority on the floor away from the soapboxes as a "mindless idiot" - room for a little 'un

I agree, also the 'Star in the car' was actually naturally handy behind the wheel - the only other good bit in tonights show

Top Gear needs a revamp and a change of format, the first thing they should get rid of is "The star in the reasonably priced car", it was ok at first but now its got a bit long in the tooth and a lot of the guests can send you to sleep, some guests are ok but the majority are just a waste air time.
Hammond is something else that they need to change, bring back Tiff in my opinion.
The show is ok but it could be a lot better, lets see them at a car auction each week where they have to buy a car and sell it on for a profit and then all of the profit from the series goes to a worthwhile charity. A lot of the general public buy from auctions so it would be good to show those that don`t know the score how it all works.
Lets see them review some after market products which they very rarely do like Sat nav tests etc and see which is the best.

Well, I really like it. I liked at when it first started and I like it just the same now.
Its a good program and IMO genuinely funny. I'm not keen on Hammond (TM) but I guess he's making the most of it while he can and have no problem with him on TG.
James May is actually particularly good in pretty much anything he does. The Toy Story series is a great program.

I don't want to see ordinary cars reviewed, I can go test drive a Fiesta / Corsa / A N Other Car myself. Besides which, 'TV Presenter A' might have a different opinion on a car to me so it's worthless anyway!
After market products, go to Halfords, they have loads and they'll let you look at them for yourself!
I don't think I'll ever get to own a brand new super car, the super cars that I see on the road are never being driven as such so for me, I like to see someone enjoying them!
Long live cocking around in cars!

yep the gayers love him, gives TG a wider audience. Take him away from TG and it loses the Pink Pound oh dear!

Think i would sooner sit for an hour and watch Top gear than sit and watch most of the other sh#te served up to us by the bbc and the real sh#t is that we get no choice as to if we pay for it or not.
