You park like a retard, you suffer the advertised consequences.
You bank like a retard, you get the idea

Not the arguement here, or indeed the ruling.
This is/was about the charges that were crystal clearly definded in the T&Cs you signed to open the account.

You have paid them ... interest gained on your money, OD charges that you incurred as noted above, interest on any bank loans etc etc
It's not "free"!
TX.

So, they lost a job and a future customer ...... not really the same as a Bank Account Customer situation is it? I get free advice from my Bank, they will tell me what I have in my accounts if I ask them, they come around to my house and discuss financial options, they provide a warm office at their bank with coffee and biscuits ...... and I have never paid them a penny! A WORLD away from the Subaru Specialist who will only help for a palm full of silver!

They pay me interest on my money - currently I am getting 4% on my current account. What they lend it out at is their business, not mine.
OD charges? - none paid, any that were refunded immediately.
Bank Loans? - None.
You are right, it's not FREE ..... they are paying me 4% on every penny I have with them

Will do me just fine. I agree numpties who cannot manage their money are paying for my intelligence ...... but, that's life I'm afraid.

^^ This is what their website says:
"We no longer offer the High Interest Current Account, but we have launched a current account that offers an alternative to earning interest on your balance"
Not any more by the looks of it ...

yeah but if you jumped in and meet the criteria for keeping it open (minimum monthly deposit, dont go o/d etc) then you may well still get the rewards.
I did this with Brclaycard about 10years ago, 0% balance transfer with 0% fees as long as youpend a minimum of £1 per month and met the minimum payment on time.
They quickly realised it was a great offer and pulled it, but provided you met the criteria they couldn't (despite their best efforts) kick anyone off it.

My 4% is with a Lloyds Current account .... Terminator X is a classic case of those who simply do nothing, but question those who are clever enough to make their money work hard for them ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Anyone sitting on money at less than 3.2% need their butts kicking - actually, scrub that, the more who sit there with their thumbs up their bums are allowing me to mop up ..... carry on with apathy
