Lol, i felt like being clever lol.
If you put a big football in the corner of the room you will have some sort of idea. When i put my normal one across the corner i lost loads of room.I could have stuck my head down the gap before. Have a look at the spec and work it out. What you lose is negligible
I will take pics when mine comes this week. It has a quartz grill and 3d emissions and all sorts of weird and wonderful stuff going on, cant wait to get it
MAX Whirlpool Microwave | Compare Microwaves Prices & Info - Kelkoo
Its amazing at the difference in price range, £87-£150

Oh and how big was that gap exactly? - you said it was big enough to get your head down .... does that mean you have a big head or a little head then? ..... just trying to clarify
It's a very special measurement - measures more downhill than uphill

I forgot to mention that my microwave arrived this evening and it is fantastico. I will post up soem pics. You will have to excuse the kitchen as it is Polish and Bulgarian made but you will get the general idea
I was more than happy when i got the thing out of the box. It does not look cheap and nasty. I wont be long...................

Here goes...
This next pic shows the tiny gap at the back
and the next pic shows how big my other one is/was. As you can see there is no longer any room for it on the work surface
Believe it or not they both have the same litre capacity inside.
The new one is great, it crisps browns, steams, fry and microwaves. Timer, clock bla bla bla and you get all the cooking and steaming lids to cover your food while its cooking. Its great
Oh, and some advise needed...white grout or dark gray for the tiles?
