Cheers zippy, mate I have always dreamed to build it myself but the money it costs always put me off and ended up settling around the 350bhp mark but having the chance to buy such a well sorted car from such a well respected guy I could not say no. In all fairness I have not really noticed too much difference on fuel (as yet) although a big part of that was due to the ice and snow stopping anything other than a little side ways fun!!!

Ha cheers big fud but I will flick a switch to 1.9bar, prime the aquamist, pop on the in gear antilag and I think there might be another outcome squire lol.

Don't get me wrong I loved the t25 bloody fantastic car and as you say soo responsive, iain and the team really produced a top car but I know which one I personaly can't wait to get back into

So you finaly got a t25 then, you got any pics ?

Ill get some up mate i bet that classic is rapid my type r is 400 -360 and thats mentall and on the 20g no lag with e85 fuel. I know its fast as ive had a couple and been in a few 450+ clasics crazy boost when it kicks in my mate bill got 470+in his wagon and me other mate morbs got 570 in his wagon.

I brought the type 25 cause i love the low down trq it makes, 3600 revs 360ft trq check all the graphs on here not many cars make it that quick good to have the both cars for a little while.Be goos to see you at scoobysprint in 2010 ste ill be there again putting type r through its paces,Enjoy your'e new beast it looks a cracker well done and good luck in 2010..

yeah they are very good and i agree the low down power is mightly good.

still playing with it at the minute and yet to relly get on it as it is soo different to the last lot i have had and with this sort of power i am taking it nice and gentle.#

dont think i am ready for scoobysprint just yet mate i would love to but i recon i need to get as many track days in in 2010 to set me up for the following year but i will try and get down to some in the year to see what its all about.

Have a look at this link and check against your chassis code, I'm sure Bob is right but may be worth a check as you never know..

Which Car is a WRX STi

Essentially it it's GC8FXXX it'll be v5, if it'd GC8GXXX it'll be v6.
james just so you know its a v5 plate reads GC8F so no idea why it came out of the factory with the v6 exterior and interior but i am not complaining

rickya, blackwagon cheers guys but i think it will be here to stay for a while i hope to have it into API in the new year for new disks and pads, oil cooler, cambelt and a oil change also a possible baffled sump depending on funds as i am hoping to do as many track days as i can possibly fit in i am aiming for one a month so i hope to see some of you all and start putting some faces to the names on here. also missed some bits off the list such as a 22b quick rack and a few others but the majority is there.

and rikya that is very impressive and to you too big fud, i do agree the responsiveness of the twin scroll is something quite different but i hope to think once going with my anti lag switched on as its set for the gear change as bob as you know used to quater mile it i should not notice much difference on the track

he was going to be getting a 06/07 hawkeye mate as he wants to do loads of r&d on it due to the new softare comming out for the drive by wire cars hence the reason to sell the v5 afet 9 years of owning, modding, r&d and drag work so as you can imagine it is well sorted

ha david i know, i am stupid and will probably regret selling it as i have done with the p1 and in some ways the t25 but needs must and i have to take a back seat from ownership for a while. i will be back to pester you one day (as soon as i can) and will have to as i will have to come up for one of those bacon rolls lol
