I wash my car regularly in this weather, just a quick wash mind and I don't bother drying it off etc. just do it to keep the salt off and road grime off.

As for too cold to wax and polish......I spent most of yesterday doing just that for a friend as he is trying to sell his car so we gave it a full clean inside and out including the engine bay and then a quick wax....was bloody freezing but the car did look good after we finished..Although the driveway turned into an ice rink as the tempature dropped

One thing i always do is have a large bucket of hot water so when filling the wash bucket from the hose i pour some of the hot water in to "take the sting" out of the water.

Also don't forget to remove all the water from your hose if you store it outside on a reel like i do....stops it frezzing solid

@ Jalopy, that has been pointed out before

Every time it goes anywhere, say for tyres, MOT, servicing, etc, I usually get a bunch of phone numbers handed to me when I return, of people whove noticed it and want me to sell

Sorry to disappoint everyone, but this one's a keeper

The white 306 alongside on the other hand, is open to offers
