ok, as everyone has said he does look like a big **** and I have an auntie that has been disowned for very similar reasons.
BUT are your mum and dad super rich or have lots of money? Thats the only thing that could make a half normal person act like that ie if you were struggling and your mum and dad had a lot of money and did not give any of it to you?

i suppose it depends on the chat he had with your Dad ?
If your Dad said since 11 yrs had passed with no gifts being bought for him or birthday gifts or the wedding gift and he would give a cash alternative for the 11 yrs of no gifts etc then i suppose £300 is not enough

It used to be a joke about the ************ being mean, but
second to selfish, I think meanness is the most repugnant of all human

DIfficult to believe that someone could write an email like that to his parents. He sounds as though he is totally selfish and manipulative.
If I got a message like that, the sender would become instantly forgettable!

He was brought up very well,well educated,has a masters degree,clever bloke but lack of common sense and respect for others.
Parents are ok,not rich but do alright and both retired after working hard all their life.
Yes, sharon was wife no1,i believe he is on no 3 now.
