A bit more info on who started the rumour.
THE WHOLE INTERNET RUMOUR WAS A SCAM BY THE EDL, I HAVE JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH A SENIOR POLICE OFFICER AND ALSO I HAVE SPOKEN TO STUART FREEMAN WHO IS A PUBLICAN (runs a bar) IN WOOTTON BASSETT, THE ONLY PEOPLE IN WOOTTON BASSETT WAS AROUND 120 MEMBERS OF THE EDL AND MOST OF THEM STAYED IN THE PUBS WHILST A FEW WE...NT...TO THE WAR MEMORIAL AND WAVED A FEW FLAGS, IN FRONT OF THE PRESS, WE CONSIDER THE ACTIONS OF THE EDL AND THE PEOPLE WHO SPREAD THESE RUMOURS AS VERY SAD INDIVIDUALS. From what i've just heard the coaches were nothing to do with muslims and the EDL got it wrong, and not only that but made themselves look stupid. Reading some of the comments left by members of the EDL their thick as pig**** just wanting a fight, and anyone that doesn't support them are traitors to the country

Several publicans rang up when the EDL started arriving so the police stepped up their presence but they've been well behaved if not a bit rowdy. Hopefully this whole issue will highlight to the government the dangers of letting extremists take root in this country. They seriously need to tighten up who comes into this country and is allowed to settle here.
