But I think they tend to think of our winters being a bit different to those of what you get in Sweden.
However......
If everyone had winter tyres this morning then maybe my 14mile trip to work would have taken a hell of a lot less than the 1 hour 30 minutes that it did take

The P1 was decidedly better at getting up snowy icy hills than a lot of BMW's I passed last April, the corners felt a bit unsure, oversteer is not a usual thing to feel but a quick blip saw things right.
It was actually a joy to travel to work earlier with no traffic so you could actually enjoy the different driving experience, not once did I feel unsafe in the P1.
I now commute in a Mondeo TDi, now that is scary! Heavy *** thing has skinny tyres but gives no indication when it's giving up, just goes lol

i went out for amidnight blat and again at 6am just to get a feel and she's doing pretty well !! (caught me out a few times, but noone else about and wide industrial site roads, so no harm) kid gloves when in traffic though is the name of the game
