I took them on a canon camera with 600mm +1.4x mm so 840mm the foxes were 200m away so quite powerful. The fieldfares were with a 300mm 2.8 and 1.4x s0 420mm they were very close, makes it easier.

We have seven feral cats living in the local farmer's barns. We feed them as well, and they can certainly eat. The plates look like they have been washed when they have finished.
They are very nervous creatures but are begining to become pretty trusting with us.
Oustanding pics of the foxes.

Hope everyone is keeping up the feeding. Just because the snow is going, the ground and natural berries r still like concrete.

Going to throw an apple out to see if it gets eaten. Also watched Snow Watch on BBC2, was a special before Spring Watch starts and they said 90% of Blue **** can die during Winter as well as may other species with similar death rates
Loads of people been writing on the forums saying how they have seen loads of birds laying in the sides of roads starving/freezing to death. I saw one this morning, a Wood Pidgeon but by the time i'd got home to get a box to put it in and gone back it had disappeared so hopefully wasn't as ill as I thought, or someone else had picked it up.
Added another fat ball at the back of the garden in the bushes near the tit box and the Blue **** have been coming into the garden feeding and checking out the box.
