Of the car owned by the King of Scoobynet?
Of the car where the 'FrozenScoop' Ice Pack was developed on?
Nah, I reckon I have the most desirable of all Impreza's

That's a S202 you freak, one of the best Imprezas ever made!

You would wear tights over your head if you had to drive one of these ... you must agree?

It could be a KJUY12879654562341 for all I care - it looks like ****e
It wouldn't need snow in the scoop, it would have to be covered in it!!
And the Electra was the best Impreza ever made!

I've spent this afternoon shaping the snow in the scoop and then popping them in the freezer ... I've got a few iced up now ready for when the snow has gone and the ability to use the free power upgrade has long gone

And some how sunny side i don't think you did actually come up with this idea

Of course it is, i can see it now, Tommy Burns and Jimmy McDougal, great drivers in their time, 105 now ya know, poor old Jimmy's got a wooden leg and a clubbed foot, but still plays for England U121 football. When his bag bursts nobody can get near him, a sight to see, 20.1 in his last game, scored all the goals including theirs, a true master.

So?
If you pulled up at the Shell Garage and they had in the Freezer shaped, perfectly moulded ice packs
that would fit your scoop and melt onto the IC - what would you be prepared to pay for them?
£4:99 maybe?
That's just a gallon of petrol and such a great hike in power.

Since you are a scientist Pete you may not realise the risk you are taking with your engine. I can try to explain it to you!
The effect of cooling the intake with the snow will of course be likely to generate extra boost which is why your performance has increased. The possible problem is that you may be getting pre-ignition and detonation that you don't know about until No. 3 big end lets go and the conrod might even take a hike out of the cylinder block!
The obvious protection against such a catastrophe will be a "Knock Link" which you know by a different name. This will give you a visual indication of detonation and you can then back off the throttle to save your engine.
Such a useful little device and not difficult to fit. When you fit one you will have instant ease of mind!
Hope this is of help.

Very helpful Les.
As I did report earlier in the thread, I did consider a Random Light Generator
- like the one you mention - to make me look really kool and great to the teens
when I pop in for my BigMac .... but, part of the instructions for use is to wear
a basball cap the wrong way round - I don't own a baseball cap So couldn't fit and use one, sadly.
I've been putting the information into the Cray Computer I use for modelling at work
.... it suggests that the results are due to the same atomic level re-arrangement that
makes a CD sound much better after it has been in the freezer for a few hours.
Something about the re-arrangement of the nuclei and electrons and the doppler effect
So, it has a Scientific basis too ......

IIRC a lot of cars don't finish Rally of Sweden because their rads get blocked by snow and they then overheat...
And if the static air temperature is < 0, its colder than the snow? Once you start moving its going to be a lot colder.

Just thinking about where I could market these Moulded Ice Scoop Power Boost Blocks.
And, it hit me, at a Track event!!
You get the Ice Cream man there - he could transport the Blocks and sell them with his 99's!
What do you reckon? Do you see Ice Cream men at these events?
Mabye I could do a lot of business at the Scooby ShootOut?
This time next year, Rodney .....

Just got back from work .... luckily the car park at work had ample free snow - I filled the scoop up and whizzed home, the power increase is truly amazing ..... the freezing/melting snow really does lower the charge temperaturs massively.
There is steam coming out of the scoop, which actually looks really cool at the traffic lights - everyone was looking over, thought my engine was on fire!!
