Snow in the Scoop

Cobblers!!
During my Patent search I have unearthed that someone in the US have taken a patent out using snow and ice on the IC of a snowmobile. US Patent 7104352 - Intercooler system and method for a snowmobile with a supercharged engine
Some words from the US Patent, "A further advantage of an embodiment of the present invention is that the intercooler heat exchanger, by employing snow/ice to cool the charge air, is very efficient, allowing it to be relatively small and light weight"
They call the snow/ice collection point a 'Retention Area' .... this, on the Scooby, is the scoop.
I think the invention is only protected in the US - the UK market is wide open, until I find someone has beaten me to it
I'd better get designing something unique about the idea .....

What worries me is that as the Impreza is sooo cheap now, theres bound to be some retarded luddite that takes Pete's advice on board and does some serious damage. "Well a retard like this shouldn't have a scoob" I hear you all say.... probably right, but the retard may be a genuinely nice person and not have a working Scoob any more.
And Pete wouldn't feel guilty one bit
Oh the shame
