As Mitchy260 pointed out, if we all took subaruturbos approach, the whole world be working in customer services and the queue would stretch half way around the world with folk fighting over chiken tika messala or green thai curry.
Best go to the chip shop anyway because that curry cr@p will make you **** through the eye of a needle, then you will be asking customer sevice for **** wipe material.
My word, how can we ever keep up with your scintillating wit? And how necessary it seems to be as an accompaniment to your posts!

You completely ignored my point about changing the aisles around for the supermarket's profiteering motives and the problems that causes to the disabled or just to customers who might be short of time.

What are customer services for if not to aid the customer? Or is that name a secret code for something completely different known only to the likes of yourself?

If the supermarket really has to make things difficult for the customer in that respect then they should employ more customer service personnel and also ensure that they actually know what they need to in order to do the job properly. No point in just paying lip service to it. Very often a fully comprehensible plan in the way items are stacked would obviate the need to ask anyway.

This sounds like a conspiracy theory like the "grassy knoll" and "did they really land on the moon" and "did blue peter really use all that sticky back plastic".
I don't think i'm that bothered really because i don't even like curry.
But if you continue to analyse my so called scintillating wit and previous posts you'll end up dafter than me!!!

I have to say that it is impossible to find any real connection between my post and what you say above except the passing reference to curry which means nothing in this context.

As before, you seem unable to answer the points I made about tramping through a supermarket trying to find where they have shifted the merchandise to this week!

I can only assume that you are on the spot and can't think of anything worthwhile to say in that respect. Certainly analysis is unlikely to prove anything so I can't be bothered to even try.

Maybe if I did become as daft as you, it might be a less demanding way to go through life, as long as it did not make me as insulting as your first post was.

I once had a moment with TfL customer service when I phoned them over just a query. The girl actually started shouting at me and then hung up on me. Fabulous customer service! Ended up so mad I called back and asked to be put through to a manager just to vent my frustrations.
TFL Customer services outsourced to a company in Moulton Pk, Northampton paying 6.00p/h, she will have had many abusive calls that day from thickos and rude git swearing because their oyster card does not work or thier kids was unable to use thier card on a bus. It is not a nice job however it is not a great way to treat you.

By a 'manager' you will have been put on hold for a bit then passed to her mate sat a few seats away, no kidding i do know this as TFL fact

Just buy the Tesco Finder app on the iPhone if you have one, it tells you EXACTLY where everything is in your local Tesco

Considering the fact that you appear to find shopping so difficult, perhaps you and Leslie could go shopping together and you could both tramp through the supermarket hand in hand

In fairness Les, it's not very common for supermarkets/shops to move aisles around every week or something. I couldn't comment on every store, everywhere but our local supermarket has remained pretty much the same in the time we have been shopping there (last couple of years or so). The odd few items have changed aisles, but the sections themselves have remained in the same area, i.e. the milk is where it always has been, the frozen stuff is in the same place, the chilled stuff is in the same place, the bread is in the same place. Ok, products may have moved to a different shelf but they are within the same general area as they've always been.

You wouldn't believe what it's like putting up with people daily who are just unwilling to look for things. It's well over 6 years since we had our last major change around, and people (who are in regularly) still come up and ask where things are that haven't moved in all that time, and when you tell them or show them they claim it was in the place it was over 6 years ago, last week.

Minor change wise, we moved the aisles around on the DIY section (my bit) about 2 years ago, mostly due to my influence so it was easier for customers to navigate, as it was very haphazard. Now we have just 4 straight aisles, where products are with associated items and even within the same aisles, people still ask where something is a few feet away. And guess what, even though it is 2 years since the move, again you have people saying something was in a different place a week or so ago. Well sorry, it bloody well wasn't.

The fact is, some people are just lazy, not everyone by the way. I don't have a problem with people asking for help when they need it, but I have a problem with people who just see a member of staff, and home in on them, often walking past what they want in the process. It's even more annoying when the majority don't even give a simple thank you.

You two would be rubbish on supermarket sweep, Dale Winton wouldn't even get rigid the way you both shape up.
In fact if my missus went shopping like you two and was as equaly inept the whole family would starve while we waited for her to pin down customer services concerning the location of each item.

Tell you what mate, if i carried on looking for longer than i did and never went to the customer service desk, then i would have taken a very long time to find out tescos don't sell the product i was looking for.

Besides whats really wrong with using a facility that's there for customers? its not like i walked in, walked straight up to the counter and asked. I had a look first and found the majority of the things i needed but could not see 2 of the other things i was looking for and had no idea where to start looking for the third, hence why i then asked for help.

And even when i asked for help i wasn't rude, i was in fact quite polite but just shocked that she wasn't willing to get any help to find out a customers requirement.

I thoroughly agree with people who have made comments saying "try looking" or "its a nightmare when customers don't bother looking" as both statements are true, but i genuinely couldn't find what i was looking for, so then went to get help and wasn't given the help i needed. This is why i started the thread, to discuss bad customer service. Not to look for a fight or argument with narrow minded internet thugs like you, who really scare me....

Just ignore him.

You weren't wrong to ask for help. Good job you did as well.

I'm speaking generally btw, not aiming my comments at you, just most customers.

I don't think you get out into the big wide world that often if you can't find your way around a supermarket.
I think it was a bad idea to sack your home help and meals on wheels!!!!

Well I've already posted on this Tesco's thing on page 1 or 2. My experiance has been very positive with their customer services.

Now my next Tesco's tale might be true but on a public forum I'd rather not say either way.

I might have bought a Wii game as a xmas pressie for somone in England. It was / might have been bought at a Video shop that could have been Extravision. When my niece possibly opened the game and tried it it didn't work.

The game was ish sent back in a jiffy bag. When it arrived through the door trhe dog decided to have a good chew on it possibly
If this had happened the damage could be a chewed plastic case and some teeth marks on the card insert with the pics on

Clearly there's no way of returning it to Extravision so what to
do

a dishonest person might go to Tesco's and buy the same game. Take it home switch discs and next day return with a tale of woe and a disc that will not work. Customer services might say - see if there's another copy on the shelf. Sadly there wasn't ish so a refund was granted.

The working disc might have found it's way into a box from one of our less popular games and the teeth marks on the card insert now barely noticable The game was returned and one very happy niece.

Of course I wouldn't do anything like that but it's possible

Tesco's customer Service are the best

I was quite enjoying taking him apart in fact. He can't cope with it anyway and is unable to answer the telling point that I made.

He is going into the realms of pure imagination now, and he does not seem to have a lot of that either.

He may mature enough one day to realise when he is flogging a dead horse!

You are lucky then Lisa, they change around fortnightly around here. The staff are fed up with all the work let alone the customers.

I agree of course that lazy people are a nuisance but I and most others I see do make an effort to find what they want and like me will only ask if it seems impossible to find an article.

Believe me, when walking tends to become painful or tiring after a while, there are times when you are forced to ask. I will say that the staff in our supermarkets around here are extremely helpful and only too pleased to give you the information.

I understand the irritation you must feel at times though.

Leslie, if you go to Asda they have electric mobility scooters available, maybe these would be less tiring and painful. Or another solution would be to order online and have the shopping delivered, this would be less confusing and take the worries out of the shopping process for you.
I can't believe i'm being this helpful, it must be because i can't find the telling points you made and i now realise you are a special case with special needs.
