Well I'm not sure where I critised anyone on this thread, I made a tongue in cheek comment about the predictability of you posting some anti-government rant, in response to you calling me predictable?

But my view on this issue is simple, I delighted this provocative march has been banned.

The only people who won't be delighted are the extremist on both sides

Except that I'm utterly opposed to extremists of all kinds and applaud the decision to ban the march.

But don't let the truth distract you from your usual misdirected attacks

And what would have been your way of dealing with these extremists then Martin or any other extremists in the UK for that matter?

That's an interesting point about there being more than one extremist view. The problem for the soldiers and co is that they will be hit on from all sides, either politicians trying to make it look as though backing the BA means backing government policy, or being branded the bad guys for doing their basic duty. Personally, i wsh they'd not gone to the middle east in the first place, that doesn't mean they deserved to be blown up etc any more than any innocent people in the middle east do.

It does get my back up though when you get people saying about their country this and their country that, if their country is so wonderful as they insist on shoving down our throats, what are they doing here? According to them ,this country's so inferior to theirs, my answer to that p1iss off back there then.

It was not banned, Choudary cancelled it himself. I was saying that it should have been banned from the outset.

I agree wholeheartedly with you about extremists. It is a dangerous path to take and will not settle anything satisfactorily.
