That should be fun to watch...
Fee should be in Club again.... 570bhp and 1350'ish kg... only difference from Snetterton will be wider rear track (about 70mm)
I should catch a round or two in the Impreza... hopefully with more power (still 'only' about 400bhp though, more brakes and much better suspesion! Weight wise about 1200kg i think.

I only clean Duncan's motor before each round. Don't compete myself. Wish I had the money to, but alas no .
I took it to Snet incase I could blag a passenger ride in practice, then got so caught up in Duncan winning the championship I packed all my stuff up and forgot my lid.

Every year is different with new names and old names alike. I will not be in club challenge this year so will have to make my car more of a dedicated racer which is a shame. As Paul said last year was not about budget or power but teamwork and the secret Zen recipe.
This year will be done on a complete shoestring again - who knows whether the car and I can step up a class and still be competitive with sub 600 on a full weight shopping car with added weight of cage and aero. I hope we can.

so much weight in the doors i couldnt believe it. your handy with the old tool box get up zens and get cutting, why not your playing with the bigger boys now
what ya aint got in pwer make up in weight. take ya kit off and cut everything out from behind that engine and gearbox cradles all the doors, stick a carbon boot and bonnet and roof skin, your budget will stretch to that will it. common dunc you need to make it two titles in two years
you still got air con etc

as long as you can get it back thats the main thing. why not have an entry to one or two rounds?

Would love to but my scoob is running pretty much standard power. Just a 3" exhaust from cat back and caik). I get my TA kicks by helping Duncan where I can. - It's cheaper that way

2007 - started with 395bhp
2008 - 400bhp for most of the year, but up to 480bhp for the latter rounds
2009 - 480bhp for all rounds bar 570bhp at Sneterton.
The power is going up, the weight coming down as the years progress. The car is essentially unchanged/untouched since Snet. Its had new rear wings, a new oil gauge and an oil change.
Fee has had 2hr's of driver training back in 2007. In the right hands ( a pro driver ) I think for sure it should be a Club Pro car. BUT - we are not tuners.... we dont have an unlimited budget..... and she should be aiming for a top 5 place (in my opinion)

I wouldnt mind moving up a class...but I just don't think I'm ready for it.
I think I would litterally crap myself if I saw the gobstobber in my rear mirror!
I don't have a cage that meets the regulations, and don't have the means to get one at the moment.
To me, there is no point staying in a class that you/your car are clearly above.
To date I haven't had a podium finish so I don't think I have reached my full potential in club
I really could do with some tuition and some more track time, and I have only driven the car in its current spec once at Snetterton
Who knows....don't know if I'll be entering at all yet this year!

just been getting a lot of digs from people saying im not being fair, but my car isnt yet built ive had no seat time at all, all my tuition has been in a 360bhp scoob or a clio cup, so i think club is right for me too, common fee break the beast out and get time attacking, this could be your year ya never know
