they are idiots.i cringed when i saw the guy grab the same sponge he cleaned the car in fronts wheels with and then rub it over my bonnet.
its only because i am lazy.i have paid the price for it.
Not as big a price as i paid a year or so back........
we do ours in the shell garage in edinbugh way harlow. you pay for time and wash it yourself with the brushes and hoses. its a good quick fix but usually have to go over again after for really stubbon dirt. works for us tho. would never go through a car wash in any car let alone the scoob. did it once with a friends car and it put a MASSIVE scratch down her front she went mad but the garage woudnt do anything. dont trust the machines. you want something done properly you gotta do it yourself

This isnt much better either i must say, dont mean to sound bias but you cant beat bucket and sponge, or even better a wash mit!
Thing is with these garage brushes your not the only one using them, take into account that there was a builders van in there before you caked in mud and grit, he's just washed it all off using that brush (and his wheels) now you've just pushed it all over your lovely scoob!
I can understand that not everyone has facilaties at home to do a good job, but you could use the hot soap and wax from these places but take a bucket a sponge!

Quarter to two ish.I came from Basildon and got off the the a1012 exit because you can't get off at lakeside from that side.turned left at the roundabout and as I was going down to next roundabout it was going the other way.defo the same one r5 omfg
We didnt even take the Escort to a drive through car wash.
I used to valet cars for my first business, i know for a fact that these places use cheep products ie washing up liquid, the dont give a damb about your motor! (they cant do for a tenner!)
I used to (and still do) use 2 buckets, 2 sponges, 2 leathers, one for above the bumper line, and one below! your better off paying abit more getting someone who knows what their doing!
Not when they're using sponges and leathers they don't
Matt realistically how much warmer does it need to get before you can clay and polish effectively?
Are we talking end of March at least?
AS long as it's not freezing it'll be ok. The trouble with these temps is the polish not breaking down properly. If the polish doesn't break down you'll get marring. In turn you then need to either re work it at higher speed to get the temps up or warm the panel up. This is where twin 500w hallogens come in handy
