To the OP, I'd be more concerned about the shady people in your own Government. Gerry Adams and Martin Mcguinness, two fine upstanding members of the community eh? What with the Good Friday agreement in disarray and power sharing policy in tatters how about we discuss that?

Fine - If you wish.

But it'll all get sorted out in the end, so please don't you worry youself
And lets not drag up the past please - it should really be left there as we've moved on now

I think (and I suspect this will upset a few on here who don't read the post properly) that he epitomises all that many see as wrong with young Asian men of a certain dipsosition.

Specifically that he's over confident, cocky and arrogant in the extreme. Did he not kick off majorly in at least one interview about how he was "completely innocent" in the whole thing?

Now, I fully understand that arrogance is far from limited to any one race, and that politicians from all sides have exhibited similar straits.

Hell, one G Brown ESQ is about as arrogant as you get. However there is a "cockyness" which many believe is more prevalant amoung young men of certain ethnic backgrounds than others, irrespective of religion.

Personally, it was his cockyness and disrespect of the law, and us, the voting public, that made me instantly dislike him (to the point of wanting to smash a brick in his face if I had the chance) more than, say, a politician who was also guilty of milking the system but who was a bit more humble in his stance (irrespective of whether or not that public face was all an act or not).

I didn't want to drag up the past but I think you're sadly mistaken if you think everyone has moved. Far from it but that's a matter for another thread perhaps. Back on topic Malik is a parasite and should be dealt with accordingly. I'll stick by the motto stating anyone who harbours ambition to be a politician is not qualified to do the job!

Come on they're all as bad as each other! I did see Malik in an interview claiming 'he worked within the periphery of the rules'. He didn't come across as any more arrogant and cocky than the minister who claimed people were jealous of him, and that's why they were hounding him. Perhaps you saw a different interview to me. As for being humble after getting caught with ones' fingers in the till, that is the ultimate insult but yet strangley pacified you.

No, it didn't pacify me. The difference was that the humble thieving ******* did not insense me to the same degree that the arrogant cocky thieving *******s did.
