Hmmm, I will see how I cope without one for the first week, and use the lovely leather pouch in times of danger lol.
Is the "chrome" bit as vunerable as that on the 8900 then ?

Mine 9700 is about a month old and is showing no signs of wear on the screen or case. i never use protection (I'm sure there's a prime joke for somebody there)
I just use a Pc screen wipe from time to time to give it a clean up.

Cool
The metal strip feels a bit more "metallic" than that on the 8900 for some reason, although I could be mistaken. So am hoping it will last better.
Definatly getting screen protectors as I usually do though. Shame no 2 screens are the same, I have protectors for 2 styles already lol.
Glad to hear it is a tough cookie though, cheers for that.

I have (hate to admit it) got a beltclip pouch too. But I tend to only use it when travelling etc.
I might see what film protectors are out there soon. But for now the standard slip in pouch will do for me.

The hateful thing is though, they are SO practical... Oops did I just go over the hill all of a sudden lol.
I got one with a magnetic closing flip top, so easy in/easy out lol (the way I like 'em)
My BIG dilemma now is which theme style to use. Too many to choose from, simple, detailed, oh god help me lol.

Yeah I love the flexability of the profiles too. Once you get them all set up its nice. Liking the interface of the new profiles option too, far more user friendly.
