John why are you getting so annoyed and defensive????? There is no need at the end of the day if the turbo has been stolen from outside your house then i am sure its down to Fedex to sort out the bill.

Add to that dont want to sound off but there is no way that the turbo was damaged in transit i have been working on and around turbo cars for over 10 years and have seen this kind of damage before. It is caused by what has already been said either something has been injested into the compressor housing or to much boost.

I know Woody and have known him for about 4 years now and he is the most honest guy you will ever meet. He bought his scooby after he had a go in mine and got hooked. I did warn him about buying second hand turbos just wish he had taken my advice then all this could of been avoided.

Forgot to mention that

That is well out of order. It looks like you are the one trying to rip people off and maybe its backfired this time. Man up and admit your guilt then give Woody his £150 back maybe add a little too it for all the hassle you have caused him.

I carnt wait till tomorrow now, probably more excuses as you say they have been twice and you have not been there!

i can assure you that is NOT my wifes signature and for the 4th time if you phone the edinburgh depot they will confirm that the driver signed for it, im in now waiting on the driver myself. i dont expect my wife with 2 kids to wait in all day on a parcel a fedex note should have been left in the 1st place stating that i should collect from the depot or it was left with a neighbour. i doubt that you have ever phoned the edinburgh depot and i have asked them personally to contact you and they stated that the issue would have to be dealt with first before contact was made with you, hence why i told u to phone them???

Why should i ring this number you gave me? I rang FEDEX and they told me somebody signed for it at YOUR address NOT the driver

I will call this number though monday just to see waht the hell is going on, but dont you think the two offices would communicate to say that its not been delivered, im getting two different stories!

think whatever you want mate they will say at your end that its been delivered but i know and a woman ( never asked her name) at the edin depot know that the driver signed for this as the driver has admitted this today they are going to open a case about it i believe so as i said your end wont know until edinburgh depot confirm that the parcel in fact WAS signed by the driver and not my wife ?

Sorry for interjecting.

Putting aside the damage issue (none of anyone else's business obviously)... this is what riles me when couriers leave parcels on doorsteps or with 'neighbours' (if they have of course).... you don't have to be a brain surgeon to realise what could happen in such a case!

It really winds me up! (to put it mildly).

It's the 'assumption' that you're friendly with your neighbours that gets me!

As a thoretical... If you've seriously fallen out with your neighbour and a courier just happens to have left it with them, do you really think the neighbour is going to admit that it's been left with him/her?! At the very least they prob wouldn't admit out of pure spite (regardless of whether it was of any value to them) It's out of order couriers doing this - it's THEIR responsibilty that a sig gets signed at THE ADDRESS on the Pro Forma (or returned back to the local depot and a calling card left). By leaving it with neighbour or doorstep, they're WRONGFULLY passing the responsibilty to the poor, no-control-over-the-situation, recipient!

What is the recipient supposed to if it goes missing for whatever reason!!! The frustration!

Yeah, to make clear I'm not saying FE has done this - just stating that other couriers do do this and it can cause anxiety when it does happen.

It's happened to me at least 4 or 5 times now... luckily got each parcel safely in my hands as it happens lol. But......................

Well John looks like you may of won this time. Woody has just got off the phone to the number you gave him and the driver said he didn't sign for the parcel and he has been back to your house today and your wife denied all knowledge of the parcel. You my friend are a tosser and I hope that you get scammed back someday but a lot worse.

if u look closely at the first pic of the turbo u kin see its got broken blades also ive been a courier for 5 years now closer to 6 if i was to leave a parcel at the neighbours house because the person wasnt in then i would leave a card through his letter box sayin that where his parcel is then that way u no where it is and if the parcel went missing me the driver who deliverd it there returns to the address with police if need be to speak to the person who sighned for it so not all couriers are the same but this is company policy where i work and im sure is with alot of courier places as if not there would be a hell of alot of claims going through for missing parcels soz if it sounds like im bein a dick but after reading this had to make a comment i dont work for fedex just incase u thought i did im with citylink

Well he seems to have gone very quiet. Looks like Woody can claim though Fedex but can only claim a certain amount per kilo so will get about £70 back. It really annoys me when people do this there is no need. I could never dream of ripping someone off like this even more so on a site like this. Think in the future myself and Woody will pick up if we buy anything off here again.

well since reading this thread from the start ive been itching to stick my ten pence in, mainly in support of woody. but i bit my tongue (or fingers)..... until a verdict or somesort was posted.....

mr johngoulding, seems that you are a tosser thats got nothing better to do than rip us genuine members off, iirc you have a for sale thread on here with a list of all sorts of parts. hope no one buys anything off you ever again. its ******* like you that spoils it for everyone else on here. yes, i might send a parcel out late or whatever, but if i do i make 100% communication to the buyer etc and i always post my items recorded 1st class and supply a tracking number...... and i would hope i get the same back.

i just thank my lucky stars i havnt bought anything from you, you complete muppet!!!!!!!

goodbye.

This is my last post on this matter/post

Fedex have told me to put in a claim, they said they will give me £12 per kilo of what the parcel weighs which is 6kg, so i will get half my money back, better than a kick in the teeth.................

All i will say is DONT buy anything off this guy EVER!!!!

hardly a muppet mate woody decided to call me a liar when he seen a signature that was not my wifes and decided that she must have signed for it and btw the boy who delivered the item and signed for it has lost his job so i think not mate , the boy wouldnt have lost his job for no reason and i never comented as edinburgh depot told me that they would deal with the client and i should no longer get involved nor need 2 be ive sold thousands of parts mate , ebay , scoobynet etc theres about 60 sales on scoobynet alone in the past 3-4 months and i got 1 complaint before this and the boy got a refund so how do u make out im bumping people exactly get a grip m8 ?
