Anyone help?

Here's a pair on the bay. Dylans car had two round track rods on each side.
Can I just fit the round ones? Or do I need to get the square profile ones?

Hi, I'm new to scoobynet, based near Cardiff. I've got a set of replacement tie bars ready to fit (put powerflex bushes in them) so you can have my old ones for £30 collected. I've got a mate in work who lives in Swansea if that's nearer. Only problem is don't know when I'm going to fit, might be a few weeks. My Mrs is getting pi**ed off with me working on motor all the time.

Just to be clear, the ones I'll be getting rid of are currently on my car, I'll be fitting the 'new' ones with relacement bushes in the next few weeks hopefully, so no piccies I'm afraid. Regarding your question about fitment, I'm pretty sure all the classic ones are the same. I could take pictures of the 'new' ones if you want. No idea how to host them on here though

I understand what you mean now. I was looking at calvin's rear Axel earlier and his has the box section rod as well. I took a rough measure to compare them both (calvin's and mine) and they are the same length. Can see an issue with you using early rods. Tyrons S202 has the same rear rods as mine and his is a bug eye.

I know have the bushes that fit in the subframe that hold the diff and the subframe mounting bushes.
While I was at it I have also sourced a diff cross member. Mine is pretty ****e to be honest and the bolts are lumps of rust
Subframe, Trailing arms and tie bars now sprayed up and ready to go on
I'll post a few pics but I hope to have "Christine" on blocks next week.
