Definately wouldnt say they are chavvy!!

I think they are just very common, and now the "Norm" of turbo'd cars

Re-circ for me and then it will be Maf and DV delete for me

if you want this why havnt you got a ford ka.??
What is wasting money on a valve that does nothing for performance (in comparison to the OE one fitted from the factory) got to do with a KA?

If you want performance, spend the money on a remap not a dump valve

Or remove it all together with a remap and it makes a similar noise and DOES improve areas of performance. I don't like VTA's on standard cars for functional reasons rather than being a reverse snob, which is just as repugnant as being chav. If you run an early classic with a FMIC the DV outlet makes a good place to ally weld a simtek temp sensor, so may aswell bin the DV and get it mapped properly.

Therefore waste of money

Wasting money on needless items? as Chavvy as chunky low quality gold(ish) jewelry.

Seeing someone mentioned Supras, that makes an interesting point of contention; Finding one thats actually not been ruined and trashed by stupid mods done by previous owners (in UK or Japan) makes a straight original one in good nick rare as hens teeth (Same with RX7s). Thankfully unmolested Imprezas aren't so rare, although its still a task tracking down a good one.
bet youve got anti theft dust caps, and fog lamp covers and a boost gauge and an oil pressure gauge and a turbo timer and mud flaps and a bung for your exhaust, and loads of auto glym in your shed and use v power in a uk car and change the oil every 3000 miles with fully synthetic and subscribe to tracker and £500 excess on your insurance o i forgot winter spring summer and autumn tyres and a spare set of wheels tyres and brakes for track days and hids lights and maybe a front splitter what about a boost controller, coilovers & brake upgrade.not forgetting decat and induction and high level spoiler. dump valve cost £100 at the most off flea bay and i love them.

Can anyone actually tell me what a chav really means. Everyone uses it to cuss one another. But do they actually know what a proper chav is

I assume that Dump Valves can be swapped on and off quite quickly?

If so, I have an answer .... put it on when you are down at MacDonalds to impress the 14 year olds .... then, when you are home swap it back so that people won't laugh at you the rest of the week .... sorted

i sold my vespa scooter a few years ago. and got good money for it. the mods in the 60s and the 80s scooterboys made these scooters disireable. a decent lambretta scooter now cost £4000+ for a 30+ year old one. chavs of the 60s and 80s made this happen.
