lets face facts here Subaru Impreza's (scoobies) are seen as chav machines if we like to amitt it or not, we all get labeled because thats the imagine any impreza turbo has, cheap high perfomance car that can be found on any council estate, a dump valve or exhaust isnt going to make you look any more chavy than we already do to the gen public.

Here,here. Well said!! We dont like it but Impreza's are cheap these days,so very common! There fast & there loud,so to the small minded people out there......Chavy!! Weather modded or not!!I love the sound of my Baileys twin piston & dont care what ANYONE thinks,its my car & i'll do what i like to it,im the one who works 6/7 days a week to run/mod it,nobody else!!!
Its each to there own IMO! The world would be a pretty boring place if we all had the same opinions about everything!!
If YOU want one then get one,never mind what other people think!

As a 30 year old I part agree with the above comments. Yes you can get cheap impreza's I have a modded bug JDM sti and am looking to get 7-8K for her and am going to replace it with a Blob or Hawk jdm sti and am looking at 13-17k so CHEAP! I think not. Yes you can get V1, V2 etc classics for very little and yes these are now in the reach of the little boy racers/chavs but im yet to see one owning a blob, hawk or hatch sti.
In answer to the chaps original post about are DV chavvi? At the end of the day its up to that person if he likes the sound they make, go for it, if not then stick with standard.
Same goes with exhausts. If we were all the same it would be a very boring world hence why we are all different.
Thats my 2p worth and no doubt people will disagree with me.
