Went to see the car today and had a look underneath, and it looks as though the rear of the sill has been had a go at with a can opener where it dragged along the kerb and the floor is a little bit creased near where it hit the sill so it needs a new door, a jig to be on the safe side to pull the b pillar round as the gap on the rear door has increased by about 3mm and sill repairing and a new side skirt,. hoping the insurance dont write it off but if they do i will be buying it back, my insurance cant insure me on a car they have paid out on so it would have to be insured elsewhere,. and it depends on the repair bill i might be better selling it for parts but i cannot be bothered to start stripping engines and gearboxes out etc so i would sell it as a job lot. its a V-Limited Jdm twin scroll with vvt heads, sweeping red dials,. sti 8 trim, DCCD gearbox, C-Diff control. Toshi Arai suspension,. elec folding mirrors vf37 turbo twin scroll. etc etc what will it be worth as a job lot it cost me 14k so no silly offers bearing in mind the engine and box could be worth approx 5k with only 24.000 miles which is mint. lpg gas conversion also on the car worth 2k. just getting a gauge on where to go from here cheers

well it wasnt a write off, thankfully and the guys at scoobyclinic have repaired it and i cant wait to pick it up now, on my day off next week,. they were polishing it today...i have bought a set of inovit redline 18s in gunmetal and cant wait to change the look of the car. my insurance was a bit of a nightmare though due to my bump and it took me all day to find an insurer that were only £300 more on last years premium although higher excess! saying that excess is irrelevant as i wont be making any claims again i need to build some NCD. so all in all not a bad outcome. will be driving about like its wrapped up in cotton wool now lol.
