Why did u need to flip it? Use the universal joint connector with the clip, n stick the base of the uni connector into the sunvisor, then u can twist the camera into correct position Or as I'm doing I used the t-plate clip n bluetacked it to the rearview mirror, so I can turn it on/off from driver's seat.

lol, I didn't realise the clip twisted, I have a bad history of breaking plastic connections that look like they 'might twist'.

Does this memory card work ok? It is listed as SDHC and on the sites i have been looking at they state that the HC cards are not compatible with equiopment using micro SD.
I was confused but if it works let me know and I'll get one. 8GB is lodsa storage.

I haev been using a Kingstion SD card which I believe is class 4, the files do judder but i thought that was my old PC struggling

I was going to buy a SDHC and looks like it will from that image but after 2 website (big names not some little internet comapny) stated that SDHC was not FULLY reverse compatible with SD I did wonder if it would be ok.
Think I'll get one ordered in time for my tour round scotland. Got a feeling I will need plenty of memory space

I had a go this morn then, just a test really so didn't get the angle quite right And I need to cushion the cam with a bit of bluetack, the scratching noise is it rattling in it's holder. Not the best weather either

There seems to be a lot of guess work on where to point the camera.
Cant you plug it into a laptop , view through the camera like a webcam and fine tune the angle ?

I did another in low light which is much better, clipped to the sun visor this time. Looks n sounds good. The only issue is the cam was moving about a bit over bumps as the sunvisor moves. If you mount the cam properly I suspect it would be very good.

You can crop out the timestamp with tmpgenc express.

Okay guys just had confirmation from HK that my new cam is on its way, just need to order the 8 GB - 6 speed micro sd card now, a few ebay sellers look genuine enough for the buying off this memory card but to be honest with the amount off fake branded cards on ebay am not really that keen on buying what could turn out to be a cheap copy.

had a look on mymemory who are normally very good in terms off service / cost off there cards but the only 8gb class 6 one I see is the one in the following link :

Samsung Micro SD PLUS Memory Card - Class 6 £9.49 - Free Delivery

can someone please confirm that the above is exactly what I require and does it have to be this sdhc type ??

from those that are using this camera with an 8gb card can you advise where you got your particular card from ??

*****

The one on ebay that did catch my eye and the guy has faultless feedback was the one in the following link :

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...%3DI%26otn%3D2

again just need confirmation that this is exactly what I require ?? ask this as a bit confused by one off the posts above regarding non compatablty off sdhc or whatever it is ??!!

Got mine through Amazon from gomemory;

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/..._ya_oh_product

The price has gone up though I only paid £13 for it.

Samsung one is fine but only 4GB, go for that if space isn't an issue.

Sandisk one doesn't mention the class type. If it's lower than 6 the output will be jerky.

Okay thanks for the info, sorry yep meant to point to the 8GB version off the samsung card which was within a drop down list.

thanks also for pointing out regards no class 6 mentioned in the advert for the Sandisk one, have emailed the seller to ask what class it is.

never actually used Amazon before can you use it with paypal or does payment come straight from a card you would have to register ??

Okay received a reply from the ebay seller and see the one in the advert is not a 6 speed version. the one he sells in six speed version is the one in the following link :

NEW 8GB TRANSCEND MICRO SD HC 8G 8GIG MEMORY FLASH CARD on eBay (end time 26-Mar-10 12:01:40 GMT)

Bit expensive when compared to some but still 8GB for under £20 !!!

deffo okay for use with the above cam ?? will my ordinary micro sd card read this particular card ???

Question

So, I've just got on of these little widgets for £ 0.99p!! Ok it's costing me £10.99 postage but still very cheap.

I'm now doing some homework on Micro SD cards. The only class 6 cards I can find are SDHC cards. Now these say that your device has to be SDHC compatible for these cards to be used - is it?? Do these SDHC cards work in the unit?

Thanks

Right nothing exciting in the video, just testing it out.
The camera shake is from the the sunvisor as it attached to that.
Just done a quick edit in movie maker and youtube has messed up the quality.
