Call that a UI ! Oh please!

I did hear about Microsoft launching a device to offer an alternative (see how I didnt say "take on") the iPad Looks quite interesting, and seems to be more PC based too.

The Microsoft device does look nice Snazy, I hope it's not too much like Windows though as that will be it's downfall.

Simple fix, create market lists for different phone platforms? One thing i think android need to do is create a customer services line for all the operating system/help. If they already have one they need to advertise it better.

Nice video showing just how good the iPhone keyboard is, other capacitive keyboards should be nearly as good.

The screen on my touchscreen phone is just like that

Download the app Snazy, see how you get on. Ian, try without the jailbreak for a while, it's not exactly lacking as standard.

I understand, it would be hard to match the iPhones predictive keyboard, good thing you have a back up, even if it's low quality.

I was going to put tomtom on it for her but being a tight git and all that she'll have to wait .One problem I did have with it is that the phone would not sync with ITunes on my computer although it would on the laptop.

I think ALK's Copilot live is much better than Tomtom and half the price. Additionally they add features that tomtom actually charge for!

Thank you for the pity, it was very much needed.

Not Pity, you said the keyboard was wobbly, that would be enough for me to return it.

Not the keyboard, the slide mechanism. Like you I am used to a single piece phone, so any moving parts feels "loose"

Oh dont turn PSL on me now

Of the people I socialise with (which of course are all imaginary) 1 has gone from iPhone to BB and one has gone the other way. None of the other have shown any interest, although 3 run both devices.

Im sure another survery would come up with the exact opposite result. Not forgetting of course.... "60% of Blackberry users NOT willing to trade in for an iPhone"

Disappointing however that I cant find the numbers this was based on. How many people questioned? Hope it was not like L'oreal with "of 83 people asked" lol
