Even then, is a thousand people good enough and and wide enough spectrum of people to get an accurate measure? Personally I think not, but there ya go.

Well, you quoted you and your mate, seems that was worth a mention.
Anyhow, fact is that the blackberry is something that is generally forced upon business users in order to get them to answer emails outside of work. Who can blame them for wanting an Android phone. There are exceptions such as yourself who buy a blackberry for themselves, perhaps to look a bit more business like.
Windows Phone 7 is shaping up nicely, another nail in the coffin of personal blackberry use. RIM shares have surged, usual pump and dump I'd say, beware.

lol well I will continue to panic and worry that RIM will fold tomorrow, and if that happens it makes sense me getting to grips with Android
Lets be honest though, there is a growing home consumer market for Blackberry too So I dont think its all over just yet
As for trying to look a bit more business like.... thats weak even for you mate lol Why the hell would I wanna do that? Im a nobody, and fully accept that

Can't say that I read your thread Snazy, you always appear on mine like Mr Ben. I'll try to read more in the future, iPad should make it even easier.
The Nexus one still is good and I'd still buy one. Anyone other than Snazy think that's a bad opinion? Don't forget it has big numbers.

How Google Needs to Sell the Nexus Two and Not Suck - Nexus one sales - Gizmodo
Nexus One a Flop! Never.
Nexus One a Flop! Never.
Once 2.1 is rolled out to the rest of the Android users, i don't really see that much benefit in real terms, and they blatantly delayed the 2.1 updates to Hero users as they wanted Nexus One sales
Now gimmie my 2.1 update you crooks

Heads up for anyone with an android, they have just launched the new opera mini 5 beta and it is super fast!
Fastest browser I have used on a phone and probably the best!

Choose Opera - Opera Mini 5 beta for Android

No multitouch ?
Not sure if its me wearing these latex gloves (for work, not S&M duties) or the browser is just broken.

don't really understand the multi touch thing, you tap the screen once to zoom twice to unzoom, I changed a few setting in it to always display full websites not mobile and set image quality to low, super quick even on non 3g.

Multitouch FTW!
I agree with Jack, no multitouch is hard to give up once you have used it.

To be honest the iPhone camera is good. The hero's camera isn't all that but the desire is suposed to have a flash. Im hoping the camera is not the same one as in the hero. i haven't seen the details for it though nor have i had a play with a desire yet.

I have the Nexus 1 and its brilliant. Just upgraded my T-mobile line to a Desire this afternoon. 24 month contract at £16/month () but the phone was free with a 3GB Internet Allowance so well happy with that..... T-mobile are hoping to release the phone by Wednesday so definitely worth a look
