Here's how it goes Snazy.
Phones get mentioned, advice is given, iPhones get slated, I defend them, I'm attacked personally, I defend myself, you play the martyr and tout Blackberrys, you don't shut up until you get the last word.
And I can't believe you still think Mobile me is an application!

Until you accept that other phones do things better than the iphone and that no one phone is THE best your going to get reactions like some on here.
When people make valid points you choose to ignore rather than answer/comment on them.
You get the name 'fanboy' because in your eyes the iphone is perfect and anything the iphone can't do or doesn't have is not needed, and everything it does have is as good as it needs to be even when other phones do things better.
You will not listen to other peoples points of veiw or reasoning on this, poeple are only pointing out the imperfections because you say its the best.
Every single person on this thread thinks the iphone is one of the very best and an amazing phone, but your not happy unless you have everybody thinking exactly how you do about the iphone.

Cheers azz, and cheers Snazy, top blokes ![Thumb](images/smilies/thumb.gif)
Thing is, he still hasn't actually answered my first question, which is, Why are iPhones better than Android phones?
He just said "because ratios of happy iPhone customers compared to any other phones in history speaks for itself". Thats not an answer, thats a diversion from facts

Which part of this complete answer do you not understand? Also, take note of the rest of my reply, I took the time to once again recommend a HTC phone and I'm still waiting for an answer to my question regarding the behaviour of the three of you.

SE have announced a couple new android phones. specs are always decent but they have stopped delivering good phones for the past couple of years.
Just to throw into the mix....

I love the way they have made the mini with and without a keyboard, smart IMO
http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3...&idPhone2=3125
Now mind blowing spec, but pretty impressive for a compact phone. And as I say nice to have the choice of a keyboard or not.
The X10, main handset is rather nice though. Rather disappointing to see this thought.
"Our best guess is they'll have some hard time adjusting their proprietary UI for Android 2.0 (Eclair) so they prefer to stick to 1.6 for the time being in an effort to get the XPERIA X10 out in the market as soon as possible"

Yeah the mini's and the X10. I expect they'll fall down on the UI though as all recent SE have. the android OS on the X10 is apparently 1.6 with a lot of the 2.0 features implemented so not as far behind as you'd think.

Excellent phone if you want a touch screen with a big screen and need to connect to PC's certainly the only phone that I have found that you can realistically use the internet on. On paper spec beats iphone too and probably cheaper to buy (I got mine off ebay) Couple of minor issues with software but not major.

Where is the facts on why or how its better? all that is, is an opinion, and also a very general one as ALL HTC phones can do this, just as well, if not better.
I want facts as why its better not the usual nonsense that Evey body comes out with
"err its the best phone because its an iPhone. Best technology on the market"
Its like me saying an impreza is better than an evo because there are more impreza's around. With no evidence to prove i don't validate it as an acceptable answer.
As for my behavior, I don't see how its something to pick at. I haven't had a dig at the way you're behaving, I've just questioned your opinions.

Subaruturbo18, if you don't want my opinion then why do you keep asking me for it. As for proving it, why would I bother, it's my opinion, some will take it some will leave it, other antifanboys - official term - like yourself and Snazy will keep picking and twisting until you've bullied people out of your way to make space for some self promotion.
By the way I see far less iPhones than many other phones, and I still stand by my statement that I've met - personally, not online - more happy users.

Jack, im not picking and twisting things, just saying what I think.
Not trying to bully anyone, self promote or even be a martyr as you have previously suggested. Just having an opinion, and a little fun with it.
On the flip side, when will YOU accept that other phones ARE better spec, for what other users want? Rather than saying the same old "its ok, but the iPhone is still THE superior phone on the market" ? Which lets face it, is usually somewhere in your comments.
Personally (this is what makes us different) I prefer my phone for what it does, but fully accept other people use other devices which suit them much better.

Back on topic.... the new HTC Desire comes out i na few weeks and has a rather impressive spec, nice screen, 1.5ghz chip etc etc....
To be honest I'm not impressed by the Android software, still think it's slow and clunky... but lots of people do like it!
It's horses for courses really, and what you like doing with your phone. Yes yes I have a Gay Iphone but it does everything that I want it to do effectively, quickly and with relative ease but hardware wise it is nowhere near the spec of the new phones about.

You're twisting things again by falsely quoting me. Then you repeat a question I've already answered https://www.scoobynet.com/non-scooby...ml#post9230053 in order to perpetuate the picking and twisting.
What's different about us is you're both an Antifanboy Urban Dictionary: Anti-Fanboy and a Fanboy. Double trouble.

Either way, I will leave you in peace as you seem to quite purposely ignore the olive branches, and neutral comments, and only respond to what you consider "personal attacks".
I got no problem with what phone a person chooses, or how they discuss it. But when someone takes it "personally" that someone else has DARED to compare specs of a phone, I actually take pity.
Thats how the whole thread started, with you taking offence of someone saying about its numbers being higher etc.... and it all stemmed from there.
Im not going to bother with this side of the conversation anymore, as its pretty boring saying the same thing over and over, while you pretend to cower in the corner from the hail of personal abuse from me.
iPhone.... best phone IN THE WORLD.... if thats what you want from a phone.

I know it's not on the topic of which htc phone is best but the iPhone has been mentioned so thought i'd add what I have found so far
Have to say that i did have an iPhone 3g for 16 months, I then upgraded to an HTC HD2 (not sure you can call it upgraded, more changed)
My view on the 2 phones is that the iPhone is a much better phone for the UI and general user friendliness, the app store is very good for the iphone and there are some really smart day to day apps, ebay, facebook, sky remote record etc etc, there is nothing like this really on the HD2, possibly in time this will change as more development goes on and more people start making stuff.
The HD2 is technically good, has more potential although the touch screen is nowhere near as good as the iPhone and browsing the web isn't as nice an experience on the HD2 either.
The multi tasking of the HD2 is good, it's a pity you need to go into the registry though to expose certain things with the hd2 rather than just going into settings etc.
Overall opinion is that the iPhone is a better phone although technically the HD2 is better, it's just not as developed yet.
I'm also selling my HD2 now and going back to my iPhone

All,
I came onto this thread to have a read, and i find some insults going on here, i have already issued one warning for being abusive to other members on here.
Friendly banter is fine, but we will not tolerate direct personal attacks.
I will be monitoring this thread now.
