Im 21 3 nearly 4 years driving, 2 nearly 3 years no claims. looking at getting either a classic type r 2dr or a bugeye wrx, possibly sti if i dont get raped too hard for insurance. Got previous experiance with performance cars, own a 266bhp starlet turbo and previously had a s13 200sx, insurance on both of these is under £1000 fully comp, hopefully impreza wont be a great deal more, £1500 or so sound about right? need to look at quotes soon, last time i checked they were looking at like £3k!!!!

The insurance couldn't be high enough for young bucks at 21 trying to insure something like a WRX/STI

They don't have the experience I'm afraid, and the insurance companies know fine rightly that it'll probably end in tears

Just don't crash then, otherwise you'll have paid £900 and the cost of your car/mods That WOULD be gutting.

Hey mate, make sure you put other drivers on the policy. Im 24 and still put my girlfriend on my policy because it brings the price down by about 40%. I feel your pain though, I bought an Elise when I was 21, 'only' insurance group 17 but still cost me a fortune. Try Endsleigh they were the cheapest for me by FAR
