I think you would be surprised, Farage probably only says what the majority in this country are thinking. It doesn't mean to say that the majority are right of course, but most people take a pretty straightforward view of things; if it smells like horsesh*t, it probably is horsesh*t!
As an aside, doesn't taking grave offence at everything you don't agree with become a bit of a burden eventually?

I am more of a lurker than a poster, as you can tell from my post count; if I responded to every post that I disagreed with, or which wound me up, then I reckon I would be like you.
I've had the odd run in with others on here in the past, but came to the conclusion that it was stupid; getting into convoluted arguments with people I don't actually know is a waste of time, especially when you know full well that they are trying to get a reaction.
So now I take a couple of deep breaths before hitting the reply button - it's amazing what a minute or two of reflection can do to put things in perspective!

I don't know who this 'everybody' is you refer to, I pretty sure the vast majority of people have got the faintest idea who he is.
As for Farage well he's needs the likes of Van Rumpy pumpy and the EU, without them he has no party or platform.
Be interesting to put a lie detector on Farage and find out if he REALLY wants 'UK independence' from the EU

He only said what everybody thinks(except Martin2005 of course) and at the end of the day he held back from calling him a cu.t

As people might have guessed in the past, My opinion of the Eu in general is extremely low. I think they are are bunch of corrupt individuals who want only to get total control of all the Eu states so that they can run us in a totalitarian manner as a police state having killed any pretence at democracy. We need to get out of it!
I don't know what Rempuy's capabilities are, he is not held in much respect.
All that however is no good excuse for an immature attack such as that from Farage. It was not in the slightest bit clever or impressive, in fact I found it to be pretty embarrassing knowing it was a Brit making an exhibition of himself like that. It was pretty obvious the the rest of the people there were also unimpressed at such boorish behaviour.
As was mentioned on Question Time, it appeared as much as anything to be an attempt to get himself noticed by the public, but I am ready to bet that it wiil have been pretty poor overall publicity as far as he was concerned.
