If you're not clued up enough to be able to find and test it then you'll have to get some specialist help. As Paul says the signal wire should alternate between 0v and 5v as the car moves and the sensor rotates. So, if you have access to a voltmeter, you can get hold of an electrical diagram for the car and follow the wires from the sender to the ECU, checking for the existence of the signal as you go. Sooner or later you'll find the point at which it disappears and from there you should be able to isolate the discontinuity.
BTW I know you want the problem solved but continually bumping your thread like that isn't really fair on everyone else. If you want it solved quick, you can always pay a specialist to look at it.

We can't tell you, different converters are fitted in different places. It'll be somewhere in the loom between the speed sender and the ECU but you're the only one with physical access to your car, so you'll have to do some work finding it. Might be in the loom above the gearbox, or could be next to the ECU itself.

From all the advice that we've collectively given you already, you should now be in a well informed position to sort the problem out for yourself - Alternatively, just take it to someone who can fix it for you
