Lee was your car mapped with the sti8 ic...if so Barry should take it easy until its been remapped with the weaker standard cooler. Or you could sell him this one and make the car safe again

very strange, unless you are running post MY05 sti hubs which are 114x5 not 100x5 PCD i was under the impression they were all cross compatible with the exception of the early rear sliding calliper brakes...but I thought all type R's had two pot rears so shouldn't be an issue

Type R have 2 pots with 290mm discs.
Might be wrong, but aren't brakes on other, standard imprezas 1pot only in the rear?
Anyway I checked mate's my99 and hubs were smaller - so the 4pot brakes I tried before for the rear fitted his car, but not mine.
Anyway - I think it's a subject for separate thread, to not mess in sale thread here - however thing is worth checking before buying.
thanks

I'm sure Lee won't mind, it keeps his thread at the top of the for sale forum
I upgraded my MY00 sliding rear calliper to MY03 two pots and can confirm you need a bracket to attach them, which means OE UK classics were 160 whereas Type R's and later sti's were 180...but I think the front hubs changed when four pots were made standard fit.
