svs I know a decent garage where the labour for the clutch is only a few hours, its called railway motors they did mine. They have a focus rally car with scoob running gear and they can change the clutch on that in 30 mins!!! I supplied an uprated clutch and flywheel and I am sure it was less than £200 to fit it

I do like the Vortex. But since you have had one before why not try something else Clare! I'd be tempted for a Blitz, but I don't use mine in the week so I'd prob cope with it being LOUD. I've got the Ninja, with a Centre section and a Decat pipe. Still got the original down pipe and i think it is too quite. Check out the link in my garage of a sound clip. Film it last year!

I'm surprised that the Vortex works well on the Subaru's, anyone got any back to back readings off the dyno. I see in this months PPC mag they had a chance to test the manufacturers claims with their Porsche 928 but made an excuse of the car having to be run on the road???? Maybe they use one of them in car devices that measure g forces etc.
Neo Brothers used one on their 9/3 track car and it made less power.... this is their reply to a thread on one of the saab forums.

Hi guys,
Yes that's right, we WERE using a Vortex backbox on our 9-3SS racecar however we removed it. We did in fact place it on a dyno with and without the Vortex (back to back) and found that the Vortex backbox DECREASED the power by 15BHP! We now currently run Maptun unrestricted straight through exhaust system.
We believe these claimed gains are only achieved when replacing a STANDARD silencer, not adding it to a straight through system with no restriction like ours.
EDIT:
This is what it sounded like with the Vortex fitted in the earlier days of the 9-3SS
